Studio Beaune is in a great location, situated close to the Seine, Lourve, Musee d' Orsay and lots more.The studio is compact but is well equipped. Marine the owner is very nice and accommading.

We stayed for a week. The host was the worst host we have had through booking.com. We sent a message to let her know in advance that our taxi didn’t turn up and we were therefore going to be arriving later than anticipated. Our second taxi was then delayed… so we decided to walk the 20 mins with our heavy luggage in the heat. We communicated to let her know. She then called me and raised her voice to ask exactly what street we were on, and we said we would be there in 20 minutes. She then left a very rude WhatsApp message saying that we were lying and could not have had a late taxi: “this is the capital!” She later deleted that voice message. When we arrived, she was casually talking to her neighbours and her tone was warm and welcoming. However, once inside away from public view, she was extremely aggressive and nasty. She did not seem mentally stable. Aside from her attitude, the studio was also missing some basics, including a Breadboard (Shame in France!) and not enough cups and glasses and plates. There was only one teatowel for a whole week and there weren’t enough towels for two of us for a week. If there was an option to have cancelled on arrival, we would have done so immediately.

The studio was not as advertised. Very loud and you can hear every person walking up and down the stairs. It was not clean. The toilet was extremely cold and unusable. Very lazy effort from the host who was also very rude. A deposit was required of 200 euros either by cash or Paypal. We opted for the Paypal option but at the end of our stay the Host only refunded part of the deposit claiming that Paypal fees were not her responsibility and so we were left short from our original 200 euros deposit. The sink in the shower was tiny even though there is space for a bigger one. There was blue light in the shower as part of the extraction fan which didn't turn off and because the shower door was glass it was visible all night. The blinds were not full width of the window so allowed sunlight in the morning. The worst part was the WC (which was separate) had no heating and so it was very cold and we couldn't use it even though my wife was pregnant at the time. The host's suggestion was to connect a storage heater using an extension cord but the WC is so small you couldn't fit the heater in there. The host was very lazy, we had to make our sofa bed (which was broken), dress our own pillows (which were sofa cushions), mattress and duvet. The sofa was stained. There were no toiletries provided. The host could have easily done a few simple things to studio stay much more pleasant (which previews reviewers had suggested but the host did not comply) such as a better sofa bed, an extra storage cupboard, a coat rail, a bigger TV, a bigger sink...etc. Finally, our first night was so uncomfortable that we asked the host to end our stay early which she responded by saying she would only refund us only one of the 2 remaining nights and then changed her mind and said no refunds at all so we had to stay the full 3 nights. Very disappointing.

We like the location as it was not far from City centre.

The bed is a sofa bed, so it is not very comfortable. The first night we heard everything going on outside, for the second night we got earplugs so it got better but you really can hear everything, so be prepared.

the location is perfect, is in the middle of Paris close to most of the main tourist attractions. the host is very nice, she is attentive and very friendly.
