Wonderful settings, located right in front of the lake promenade start, with a beautiful view towards the mountains and even the lake. Also very close to Keswick city center. The room was very comfortable, the lounge area was as well. Very good breakfast. I definitely recommend the Highfield.

The room was a very good size, comfortable, very clean. Staff very friendly but professional. Lovely breakfast with cooked items buffet and some pastries, fruit, cereal and yogurts. Generally lovely facilities, especially the lounge with the fireplace.

From BGN 247 per nightLoved the location just back from Cockermouth main st. It was quiet and easy to walk through to the shops. There is an amazing butcher which backs on to the apartment. The unit has most things one needs for self catering. Basic but available. It is a great base for walks and tours around the Lake District. The Cumberland sausage from the butcher is superb. There is parking on site which is a bonus. Access is interesting to say the least. Big cars will be challenged. Done once it becomes easier. Oh have I mentioned the butcher?

Great central Cockermouth location. Superb deluxe room with queen size bed and sofa. Off-site parking but only a few minutes walk away with free pass (loading directly outside hotel for bags). Fantastic cooked breakfast with quality bacon and delicious Cumberland sausage. All the staff were very friendly and really helpful. Would definitely stay again.
