The air-conditioned rooms of ARTS IN Hotel Conde Carvalhal have flat-screen TVs, bright and modern furnishings and wooden floors. Bathrobes are provided in all rooms. Some have an equipped kitchenette and a balcony. The suites are located in the original mansion, while the studios are situated in the modern annex. We missed our connection flight and arrived to the hotel in the middle of the night. Despite the time, Nuno welcomed us with a smile and very patient explanations and made the start of our trip in Madeira very pleasant. Also the rest of the staff was very nice, attentive and helpful. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The hotel's garden is gorgeous and has a nice panoramic view of the sea and was the perfect place for breakfast. Breakfast was excellent with large variety. It is highly recommended.

Super clean condo with everything I needed including cookware, plates, laundry detergent, and some basic toiletries. Bed was comfortable, AC worked great, and water pressure was great. I used the washer/dryer combo which was great to have in unit. The condo is located 50 meters from a grocery store, which is very convenient. Also nearby is an ATM, shops, restaurants and cafes - right in the heart of downtown Funchal. The property manager was very helpful/responsive. I paid for parking and it was worth it - great, private lot. There is an elevator in the building which is good for luggage. And the area/building were very quiet. I was on the street side and barely heard anything outside. Highly recommend. Will stay here again if in Funchal.

This recently renovated apartment is located 1.8 km from Almirante Reis Beach and 2 km from Gorgulho - Gavinas Beach. The rooms come with a balcony. The apartment had everything that I needed for my stay, clean and well appointed. The restaurant downstairs, owned by the same people served excellent food and offered a discount for those renting the apartment. The host Maikel was excellent, attentive and generous, allowing me to stay for a final night free of charge when it became apparent that I had made a mistake with my departure date. If I return to Madeira, I will definitely consider these apartments again. 10 out of 10

Boasting a rooftop pool and views of mountain, Blue House is a recently renovated apartment situated in Ponta do Sol, 70 metres from Lugar de Baixo Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace. The apartment has family rooms. The best place for vacation. Everything was very clean. The room has absolutely everything for a comfortable stay. The owner is a very good and pleasant person. I recommend this hotel💕

Towels and bed linen are featured in the apartment. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Everything was fantastic! Easy check in, comfy beds, gorgeous view. The host went above and beyond with providing us with things - laundry detergent, apples and bananas, bottle of wine, salt, pepper, olive oil etc. Excellent!!

The location is a few minutes away from the center. In the apartment you can find everything you need and there is a lot of space. The host is very friendly and helped me with everything I wanted to know and needed. I totally recommend it with all my heart. There is no private parking but you can let the car on the streets (there are some rules, here I asked the host and I received all the information I needed) or there is a parking place close to the apartment (4.5 euro per day).

Luciano and Orlando are very kind and welcoming. Luciano made an effort to fulfil our requests on check-in and his colleague Orlando checked us in relatively late on a Friday evening. They gave us the best advices on the best places to eat espetadas, fish and bolo do caco. And also where to drink poncha close by. It was a very good advice to avoid driving after drinking a 50% alcoholic drink 😅 The facilities are great and depending on the room you book, the views are amazing with views to the ocean and the east part of the city. The building has an underground parking and they give you the keys for you to park inside, which is extremely handy given the lack of parking in the public streets all over the city. We didn't use because we went in January, but they also have a swimming pool on the rooftop!
