How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Like most places in Thailand, I wish they wouldn't use so many plastic water bottles but they do have free drinking water centrally located.
Very clean and cute hotel in a central location with Thai Boxing, Massage, Laundry and Smoothie bar all next door. Awesome value for money. Perfect spot to explore Chiang Mai. The women who run it are great!

This is the best location for price private room in the entire Chiang Mai. If you are a solo traveler or couple that want to be in a quiet spot but close to the night life. This is primo 👌🏾👌🏾 Also staff are absolute angels 🙏🏼

Nothing much to dislike. My only small criticism is that tea/coffee is only able to be made in the mornings.
Very clean and comfortable room. The facilities were modern and everything worked well. The location was good with a good choice of food shops within easy reach. Staff were friendly and helpful.

My only negative in 14 nights stay was an individual in the room next to me for six nights that wasn’t considerate to other guests with his late night habits. Once he checked out the hotel was peaceful.
My third stay here in six years. Great location in the Old City for walking to restaurants, Sunday night market, Temples, massage & music venues. Anything farther away there is constant flow of Tuk Tuks, Songteaws & taxi’s past the hotel and/or parked out front. There is no restaurant here but plenty of great options within 10-15 minutes walk. The street is quiet at night with the exception of an occasional dog barking. Housekeeping here is the best I’ve seen anywhere in my extensive world travels. Three stays here, obviously I’m a fan. The friendly staff are exactly that; my friends. Highly recommend.

Nothing, I had no problems whatsoever.
The location is great, it is close to a 7/11 and lots of restaurants in the area. The staff are super nice and helpful.

My room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Reception lady was very nice and was always willing to help me with everything. And location is central. I would love to come back and stay longer.

The only negative is the bed is extremely hard, BUT I asked reception if they had any mattress toppers or anything and within 10 minutes the cleaner came and padded our bed with extra duvets, cannot fault the amazing customer service :)
Such a spacious and bright/white room despite the window being tiny, and a great bathroom (proper shower, not a wet room!). Staff were so so lovely, especially the lady who helped me when I lost my head after my washing went missing in the laundrette next door- she rang the owner for me and stayed with me to try and help. Amazing location also. WiFi was fast :)

We loved our stay here. Very comfortable clean room that was cleaned everyday with fresh towels and water. Very good shower! The staff were also lovely and accommodating
