We got a room that was too small for the three of us . The bed and sofa bed were cramped in a very small room.

The location was definitely a 10 out of 10. The rooms were clean and modern. Staff was friendly .

That the accessible room we were staying in was on the 6th floor, would have preferred the first floor. On arriving to check in we were given a standard room even though we had booked a wheelchair accessible room. Thankfully the issue was eventually sorted.

Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Edinburgh.

I didn’t like having a room with a walk in shower. I would preferred am enclosed shower stall and tub. I do understand the necessity of having these rooms available though. The wet floor made things a wee bit messy.

I am not sure why I had a wheelchair accessible room. I guess that is standard and very nice. I would have preferred a room with a bathroom with a closed shower stall. The wet floor was unpleasant. I love haggis but it was overcooked and dry on the breakfast buffet. Peanut butter for North Americans available and more Scottish cheese available would be nice. Everything was wonderful and delicious. Those are just preferences

Breakfast can be quite busy

Excellent service, clean comfortable room, can’t complain at all. Will def be staying again. Breakfast was delicious and they have an excellent extended checkout policy. Staff at reception and even on the phone to order room service were so friendly and helpful.

I stated for a single night. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel provided towels and toiletries. The room had coffee, tea bags, and Belgian chocolate. The location of the hotel was near the Haymarket train station and was very convenient. Buses to the airport were also running by. Overall, a pleasant stay.

The trash bins across the road, outside the substation, are unsightly. The chips served with the evening meal could be better. The cleaning of the tables could be done better if the cleaning spray was put onto a cloth out of sight instead of spraying every where.

The breakfast was good but the croissants were not as good later in the week as the first ones that I had there. The staff are all very friendly.

We went during the easter period and that might have influence the price, but I guess the relation value/cost is a bit excessive. Other than that we have no negative points about this place!

Very nice hotel located few steps away from Princess St., as well as from the Castle entrance. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff were very kind and nice with us. The place is clean and tidy and all suppliances are given. Very good experience.
