We got an upgrade without even asking . We arrived late at night and we were offered a 2 bed apartment instead of 1. Very close to the pool . Everything you need is there. Washing machine,dryer...dishwasher I would suggest anyone traveling with kids just put a few washing tablets in your bag and a bit of salt pepper and stuff like that.. a shop in the resort is charging crazy money for everything... Old town is walking distance around 25 min. We were using a taxi up and down max we paid 4.50€ one way. U go to reception and they gets taxi for u in minutes.

The house was clean and tidy if small but it's holiday accomadation at a tourist city so we didn't expect a large house for the price. Certainly not for tall people. We had a problem with lack of cutlery, messaged the host then immediately they resolved the problem it was in a drawer of a unit, away from the kitchen area problem solved excellent.

There were staff there for most of the day rather off putting if your using the pool, but I suspect unavoidable.

The location is excellent with great views. The room was large and very clean. The 4th floor is excellent with a small pool, views and bar. Great service especially at the front desk..

Bathroom should definitive be renovates, it is in a real bad condition. Breakfast we were there at 08:15 and the most of the stuff was already gone

1. on top of the hill, if you have to walk it is impossible, a nightmare 2. the so called common room does not exist. The coffemaker not working ( two guests trying) a small bottle of water is provided as the smallest ever croissant/cookie 3. no breakfast and no possibility to buy anything ( well there is a pastelsria open by 8:00, too late for some who walks the camibo 4. i knew the room is very small, thats ok, but it seems in coimbra the meter is smaller than elsewhere, so the room is tiny Summary: i would say avoid it if you are walking the camino
