A really beautiful property, with everything very well appointed and clean. The staff were very helpful with anything we needed, the pool is amazing and there is a bar staff to have drinks and snacks by the pool. We also ate at the restaurant there, the food was excellent (albeit slightly pricey, which is expected for the area).

Featuring a terrace, bar and views of city, Original Douro Hotel is set in Peso da Régua, 400 metres from Douro Museum. The location was convenient, it was really close to the railway station. The bed was really comfortable for sleeping. The quality of the breakfast was amazing. The door handle was broken when i was in the room, but the staff fixed it once they got informed.

Our time at Casal dos Capelinhos was magical from start to finish. The attention to detail was absolutely incredible in every way. The food was beyond any of our expectations and it was clear that great time, effort and love was put into every meal prepared there. We actually spent most of our time in the grounds themselves, enjoying the magnificent pool and spectacular views of vineyards in the area. Our wine tasting session was also fantastic. If we could have given a rating higher than 10 we would have.
