Casa Marimba is located in Laguna Apoyo and features a direct access to this lagoon. The "eco-resort" vibe here is very well put together. All the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant to talk to. Pretty much everything we ate and drank at the restaurant was delicious with nice presentation; and prices were not bad for being a resort. The rooms have AC (which you will be charged for) but the beds are large and super comfortable! The laguna access is what it's all about though. There are lounge chairs and hammocks you can use but nothing beats taking a dip in the laguna itself surrounded by all the nature. One thing I did notice was that this property was much quieter than some of the surrounding ones, which I appreciated.

10 km from Mirador de Catarina, Apartamentos Nokal is a recently renovated property situated in Masaya and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. So convenient, there is not a better location. Staff is friendly and accommodating. AC is wonderful at night to sleep. Having a kitchen to cook with all the fresh food is great.
