Everything was absolutely wonderful! This is the perfect guest house to use as home base for a few days of hiking and exploring Taman Negara. The balcony is big and spacious with a sitting area and a rack to dry clothes (much needed after swimming in waterfalls and getting splashed on the boat). The room is so clean and spacious with a little sitting area for breakfast coffee. We were more comfortable here than in any other guest house in our month traveling in Malaysia. 11/10 would recommend!!!

The host Jason is super friendly and helpful. I felt very welcomed. The rooms are spacous and the aircon is working well. The view is very nice. You can get hot and cold water for drinking. The rooms were cleaned every day. We booked our night jungle walk with him and we got a great guide who explained a lot. The wifi was also very good. If I come to taman negara I would defenetly come back to this hostel!

We definitively enjoyed our stay at Asia Camp Taman Negara Resort. The staff was extremely helpful and always available; the shuttle service to the village was very helpful. The activities you can book via the hotel are all right and well organized. The rooms are contructed with private entrance. We were even upgraded to a room with private bathroom, which was really nice.

The property grounds are beautiful and home to a number of friendly cats who were more welcoming than the front desk staff. The property is also conveniently located within walking distance from the center of the small village Kuala Tahan and the jetty by which one can board the on the one minute ferry to the entrance of Taman Negara National Park.

The hotel is a standard hotel for the location of Taman Negara. The views to the river are very nice. The location is great, in the village and close to the floating restaurants and boats, but still not in the middle of all the night noise. The room was a little bit smelly and the AC was not working well, but it was only in one of the rooms.

Taman Negara is a great place to see. We really enjoyed the boat rides (down to Kuala Trembling and night animal watching), the walks around the hotel, and the visit to the Orang Asli village. Be sure to take the hotel arranged night walk first thing to get an idea of where walks, hides, etc... are located. Overall we enjoyed the park.

The owner was super sweet, it's in an ideal location close to shops/food/river to Taman Negara, owner was very kind and let me drop off my bag in a storage room at 9am so I didn't have to carry it with me till I checked in at 7pm, decent budget option for travelers.

This is the best hostel in Taman Negara!!! Ann is the most wonderful and welcoming host. She can accommodate everything from booking tours, busses, etc. The hostel was clean and had nice music playing in the common area. Definitely recommend coming for your stay in Taman Negara!

Excellent choice,great location, helpful and kind staff, clean rooms... Next to the river and very near to Taman Negara's entrance. You can find from the hotel the attractions you like.

The room and place is very clean. The bed was very comfortable with good A/C in the room. Julies Hostel is central located to everything in Taman Negara.

Very good apartment for a family to visit Taman Negara. Although not in walking distance, the owners drove us around. We had a top stay!
