We ate in the main restaurant and the food was amazing, and we used the main bar and the outside garden area and loved the service given and choice of food and drinks in both. Hotel in North Berwick
Located in the coastal town of North Berwick, Nether Abbey Hotel boasts elegant rooms, a restaurant, free Wi-Fi, and free parking. The customer service was exceptional! Smey facilitated and assisted us in being able to complete our COVID test in order to return to the US. We inquired upon registration if we could use their computer and the staff said absolutely. However, it did not have a camera or microphone which was required. So, Smey volunteered to have her husband bring her laptop for us to use which went above and beyond our expectataions. However, I had an iPad and she assisted us in getting set up to complete our online test and get the results. The customer service and the people are what makes you want to go back to an establishment. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and the proximity to the water was ideal. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with a pleasant view over the town to the Lammermuir Hills, I had breakfast each morning, which more than met my requirements and set me up for the day to explore the East Lothian coast line. Had dinner on two occasions; found the food excellent. The dinner menu offered a wide choice. The staff at all times were attentive. This is a relevantly small hotel which has worked out a system allowing guests to book a mealtime in advance. The system works to everybody's advantage.
Lovely rural pub hotel. Bar / restaurant available. Good food - dinner and breakfast. Decent rooms, comfortable bed. Good location for East Lothian - Museum of Flight, North Berwick Locked storage area in loading yard for bikes. Friendly, helpful staff. Traditional decor and furniture
Clean, good value hotel in Aberlady Excellent hosts and friendly helpful staff Lovely beer garden at the rear of the inn Whilst we didn’t eat in the evening the menu looked good Nice continental breakfast Excellent location for all the golf courses along the East Lothian coast Recommended
Food was good , though choice was somewhat limited . Haddington is a good location for exploring East Lothian and relatively close to Edinburgh , so catching the bus is feasible as it takes about an hour on weekdays . The bedroom was large and the bed very comfortable .
the most lovely hotel which was a perfect location for East Lothian. Delightful staff and the most delicious breakfast. will certainly go back.
Haddington
Great location for buses into Edinburgh and general East Lothian exploring. The apartment had everything we needed.
The experience of staying at this gorgeous mansion plenty of history it's outstanding from beginning to end. You can feel it since you arrive there by the great tree avenue, surrounded by stunning gardens and forest. The principal rooms at the house are all fantastic (wich I liked the most was the library) all in a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere in every moment of the day. We stayed at the Princess Margaret Suite, I have no words to describe it, simply incredible, I felt like a queen for a day! Two king size bedrooms, a marble fireplace, leather sofas and dining area. Brigth, sunny and with the best views to the fountain gardens. The bathroom was also great, with shower, bath, two sinks and Noble Isle products. Dinner at the Bistro restaurant was fantastic too, even we met a charming waiter who speaks spanish perfectly! All the staff is really friendly and proffessional. Congratulations! Would have loved to stay one more night.
location was excellent-cool bar that the locals hang out in as well—dinner and breakfast offered- excellent room comfy bed with a shower and a tub—within walking distance to everything!!
Great location. Quaint hotel, small room but has everything you need. Convenient restaurant on premise. Worth a stay
Lovely small cozy rooms - spotlessly clean! And lovely aesthetic.
Loved hotel and food in bar hosted by excellent staff.
Amazing place in an absolutely stunning location, the views are unbelievable! The staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was beautiful also. Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again, would like to stay longer and sample the spa facilities next time.
Perfect location for us and we all had a great time. The caravan exceeded our expectations and one couple are planning to return to the same caravan for a break.
