Located on North Vancouver Island, Kwa'lilas Hotel is less than 10 minutes' walk from the waterfront and Port Hardy city centre. It offers on-site dining and provides free WiFi in every room. Breakfast was good. We were in a few hotels on this trip so I may have the wrong breakfast, the bread for toast was still in the bag. This made everyone who wanted some to touch/reach into the bag. Not great in these Covid times.

I loved the room with all its coziness and outdoor deck with blankies. I so appreciated all the comfort from the owners as well. This is a historic hotel right on the beach, with views of nearby islands and a spectacular sunset. Our room was small and very comfortable. We had our own balcony and access to communal living spaces. Breakfast is included and the hostess also cooks dinner on request—delicious.

The location is just perfect to relax. Our room was perfect with a great view. The geese in the morning were so cute to watch. Everything was clean an with love arranged.
