Located in Melen, 400 metres from the nearest E40 Motorway Exit and 3 km from Herve, the small Hôtel de la Tour offers an à la carte restaurant and a bar, free WiFi and private parking. The staff was more than helpful with finding a good bakery in the morning. The room was spacious and spotless. The Italian bathroom was a nice touch too.

The hotel owner, Roger, is a trained Escoffier chef and the food is amazing. He is very courteous and took the time to make us feel special even though he was catering for a wedding and a full restaurant. He speaks English very well too. We stayed in a luxurious room in a separate building, with a modern shower and roll top bath overlooking the fields behind. It was situated in a small, quiet village but was close to the E42 for easy travel. We were going to the F1 at Spa and it was very easy to drive to Verviers and catch the shuttle bus from the station to the Grand Prix. We would definitely stay there again.

Hotel Battice offers warmly decorated rooms in the village of Battice, near the A3 motorway. From here, Liège is a 20-minute drive away. All rooms include a flat screen TV and a minibar. This was my first time in a digital hotel - I did not meet any hotel employees but it worked surprisingly well. The room was very comfortable, the private parking plentiful, the hotel itself was very close to highway.

Everything. Place of the lodge beautiful, owner/operator couple was excellent people, we had an amazing breakfast prepared by the owner. It was a complete pleasure to stay there.

Aux Quatre Bonniers is housed in a traditional stone-built land house with a spacious garden terrace, a 25-minute drive from Spa. Very authentic place with lot of charm and history. Its a horses in the backyard - we love it! The bedroom was old, big and beautiful and the bathroom was very big! The outdoorplace where we get breakfast was very nice and idyllic. The breakfast was excellent - one of the best I have ever taste. We asked for vegan and it was no problem. The food was mostly homemade and from the local area. The hosts was so friendly and kind. I recommend this place very much.
