I had to flee from a nearby 5* hotel after receiving terrible service, thankfully to this great place. Starting from the lovely Noelia at the reception who first checked me in to the hotel, every person I've met there was very professional, respectful and clearly there for ensuring a nice stay for the guests, and everyone seemed to work with joy. The restaurant was AMAZING. I felt so pampered during the 2 nights I could stay there! As I usually prefer to stay in historical places during my vacations, I would not have chosen this hotel if I didn't have to. But thankfully I did and for sure if I ever go back to the area, I won't stay elsewhere. Seriously, dear Attica 21, if I managed to keep some good memories from Galicia after all the craze that happened, it's thanks to you! Great management, great team. Thank you very much! <3

Pontevedra Railway Station is 18 km away and Ria de Vigo Golf is 19 km from the hostel. Beautiful property! Great view from my bed! While I didn't need the facilities, there was a wonderful accessible washroom on the ground floor.

Very modern apartment with all facilities that we need, super clean and the owner can communicate in English well. They also hv a washing machine and dryer for free! Oya, the bed is the most comfortable that we had during our camino! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

The host went over the top to help us, allowing us to stay later than normal check out time. View was to die for

Congress and Exhibiton Center is 26 km from the hostel, while Lugo Cathedral is 26 km from the property. The nearest airport is Santiago de Compostela, 89 km from PortoSantiago, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Very clean, the staff is very helpful and freiendly, facility also good.

Hotel Mar del Plata is located in central A Coruña. It offers rooms with free WiFi access and a flat-screen TV. Featuring a bath or shower, private bathrooms also come with free toiletries. You can enjoy sea view from some rooms. Hotel Mar del Plata is well situated a few steps from the bay in A Coruna and within walking distance of the main tourist attractions and many restaurants. Car parking is directly opposite the hotel and staff assisted us going in and out. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with good Wifi, excellent bathroom and wonderful shower. Reception staff speak good English and a very helpful and friendly. It was outstandingly good value for money. A Coruna was a surprise so a two night stay would have been better.

O Semaforo Hotel is part of the converted Finisterre Lighthouse, 3 km from Fisterra Town. It offers heated rooms with satellite TV.

The comfortable rooms at the Semaforo have wooden floors, and the private bathroom comes with a hairdryer. They have a tiny room but it is a third of the price of a standard room, so I know what I was getting. If you are finishing the Camino at Finisterre, consider this as a treat for yourself. Location can't be better, right at the 00.000 km marker with cliffs on either side, the lighthouse in back and The Camino in front. Watching the sunset from the two story bar is perfect and I had my best meal of the journey in their restaurant. Included breakfast was lovely.

The Hostal El Pinar in North Galicia has rooms with free Wi-Fi and plasma-screen TVs. It is next to the A-8 motorway, 1 km from the town of Ribadeo, and 1 km from the beach.

The As Catedrais blue-flag beach, declared an area of natural interest, is just a few minutes’ drive away. The border with Asturias is just 2 km away. The lady of the house, papa, was an absolute joy to deal with. The room was spectacular and the facilities and grounds were spacious, clean and fitted out to a high standard. Absolutely wonderful beaches less than 5 minute drive away and would highly recommend. It was also very good value.

Located 600 metres from Silgar Beach in Sanxenxo, this resort has 2 different buildings, and offers elegant rooms with free WiFi and views of the Pontevedra River. It features an extensive spa and an outdoor pool. We loved everything! This resort was one of my favourite places in a very long time. I speak minimal Spanish, and the staff were so accommodating. I liked it so much that I’ve already booked a return visit with my husband in April.
