A large indoor swimming pool. Comfortable beds and sofa bed. Modern fridge and microwave and coffee machine. Complimentary coffee and tea is also available in reception each morning.

Overlooking Nantucket Sound and the beach, this South Yarmouth motel boasts private beach access and has an outdoor swimming pool. Whale watching cruises are 9 miles away. All rooms have direct ocean views. We stayed here for a couple of days during our New England road trip and really enjoyed staying at Surf & Sand Beach Motel. The location is close to anything you need and perfect to seek out all the neighbouring towns and explore the Cape Cod area. Besides a nice (heated) outdoor pool it has a beautiful private beach and wonderful breeze. The outdoor shower is overlooking the beach. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The rooms have a kitchenette (with pots, pans, glassware etc.) and all have a view of the ocean with either a patio or balcony. The view of Nantucket Sound is awesome! Our room cleanliness was immaculate. Staff was absolutely lovely and very informative. The Surf & Sand Beach Motel is a great affordable place to stay. Thank you to all at the motel 😊

Free parking and a concierge service is available. The room was spacious and clean. Shower was excellent and the bathroom was clean and included a hairdryer. There was a fridge and TV (with plenty of channels!). A kettle in the room would have been lovely but I understand that’s perhaps not a big thing in the states. There’s plenty of parking and the motel is located really close to a very nice beach. The breakfast was great with cereal, bagels, decent coffee, fruit and pastries on offer. I’d absolutely recommend Ocean Breeze and would stay here again!

Overlooking Hyannis harbour, this Cape Cod motel is 1 mile from Kalmus Park Beach and features a daily breakfast. The John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum is 7 minutes’ walk away.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the motel. Guests can use the on-site barbeque facilities and relax on the terrace at the Hyannis Cape Cod Harbor House Inn. I had a great stay at the Harbor House Inn! Travelling alone and booking very last minute, I looked for something that had great reviews, wasn't going to break the bank, but that was in a central location - so I could leave the car alone for a few days. This property ticked all the boxes, with the bonus of the owner, Raj, who went out of his way to help me with various trips, restaurants and general recommendations. The room was large, comfortable, spotlessly clean and had everything you needed - including full kitchenette (fridge, stove, microwave etc), so you could choose to eat in, if required. There was always ample parking, even when the property was full. Most importantly, I slept well - essential for me, as I had just arrived from the UK. The property was a stone's throw away from the harbour (great views from the balcony), minutes away from the ferry terminals (for visiting the islands), about a 10 - 15 minute's walk to the nearest beach and probably around 10 minute's walk away from Main Street, where most restaurants and pubs are located. There were around 4 - 5 even nearer restaurants/bars, within 2 -3 minute's walk away. Obviously, if you are looking for more facilities such as a swimming pool, then look elsewhere, but I found it difficult to find anything else that was in budget and in the location that didn't require driving. Some of the nearby hotels got very mixed reviews, too! Also, parking in the harbour would have added to the overall cost (that I didn't have to pay)! If visiting this area in the future, I would DEFINETLY stay at this property again.. A huge thanks to Raj and team!
