The do-it-yourself check-in worked perfectly, which had us a bit worried since we arrived after midnight. Rooms were big and comfortable. Sure, it's a bit dated but clean and everything works. The parking was nearby, and we got clear instructions from the host on how to get there. The town is a charming small German town, with town market opening just outside the hotel in the morning. Very nice!

My husband was allowed to check in early, and our bicycles were safely stored under roof in the locked backyard. The host kindly lent us an umbrella for the walk to have dinner. The bathroom was nice enough, and breakfast was good. Beer could be bought on site.

The rooms are nice and the bathroom is classy, modern and with a lot of space. The hostel was very quiet, but sometimes there was noise from outside, because there is a market place. I felt myself comfortable.

You can catch bus from HBF or you can walk as well from the station. The room was big enough. The window opened into the street. It was an amazing view. The bathroom was clean. There was the facility of self check in. It was easy to understand. Also the hostel staff was good and understanding, as our departure was delayed a little, and they took only10 euros in addition to stay a little longer.HumaSolo traveller
