The property features river views and is 31 km from Skukuza Golf Course. Where to begin? This tented camp exceeded all of our expectations. The tents were beautiful - had everything we needed. We booked a river tent and so glad we did, the view was breathtaking and we were lucky enough to have elephants cross the river and walk right past our little balcony. The bed was v comfy, wifi was spotty but better than we expected considering we were in the bush. Staff were amazing - Hazel was brilliant and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. This is a self catering camp so be sure to stock up before arriving so you don’t need to leave the park (there’s a big shopping mall is Hazeyview which is about an hour from the Kruger gate). Stayed for three nights and loved every minute. Can’t wait to come back!

Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. Milima lodge was an excellent choice. I will never forget the staff, specially our guide and the restaurant staff, for its great passion and constant capacity of making you feel special. The location also has to be mentioned. I remember sitting outside our tent in my pijama and just seeing passing almost all big 5. The food and every meal experience were just AMAZING!!

There is a private bathroom with shower in all units, along with a hairdryer and free toiletries. An amazing property of 10 tents so it feels wonderfully intimate and this means the game drives don’t feel crowded. The staff were incredibly friendly, food exceptional and the rooms sensitively decorated, comfortable with hot showers. The pool is perfect to relax between game drives. The site has been planted out with succulents making the garden areas unique but really beautiful and less dependent on water than other species. Leopard and hyena routinely pass through the property. At night you can hear lion not far off and in the day all manner of bird life make for a beautiful sound. it’s very easy to spend a couple of hours looking at the view and taking it all in. We were made to feel right at home and had a fantastic 2 night stay.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience at Isambane, where we felt super welcomed by all the excellent staff, who turned our dream into reality. We look forward to returning to Isambane again!

Perfect place to relax, take in the natural surroundings and nourish the soul!!

On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the luxury tent's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. All! It was a wonderful stay! The better that I had for sure. All was perfect, the staff was great, they organised the birthday of my daughter with cake and songs, and was always very pleasant and nice. The safari was also extraordinairy, we saw the big 5 in 1 day (2 safaris), our guide Satice, was friendly and professional. And to finish, tents are very comfortable.

Buffelshoek Tented Camp rates include full board accommodation and 2 game drives a day. This, however, does not include alcoholic beverages. Towels and bed linen are provided. The property was in Manyaleti and there were no fences. The animals were free to move around. We had hyenas, giraffe, elephants and lots of birds in our camp. Our game driver, Beksom, was unbelievable in the way he was able to find all the animals. We loved the simplicity of the camp. All the meals were excellent.
