Sure, here's a well-crafted review for Hostel Gypsy in Pokhara, Nepal: --- I recently stayed at Hostel Gypsy in Pokhara, Nepal, and it was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The hostel's location is perfect, nestled in a serene area yet still close to the vibrant Lakeside area. This provides a peaceful retreat while offering easy access to the best restaurants, shops, and attractions in Pokhara. The accommodations are clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The dorms are spacious with comfortable beds and secure lockers. I also appreciated the modern, well-equipped bathrooms and the abundance of hot water, which can be a rare find in Nepal. One of the standout features of Hostel Gypsy is its communal atmosphere. The common areas are beautifully designed, creating a relaxed and inviting environment where travelers can easily connect and share stories. The rooftop terrace offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and Phewa Lake, making it a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The hostel also offers a variety of activities and tours, from trekking adventures to cultural experiences, ensuring that guests can make the most of their time in Pokhara. The staff's local knowledge and recommendations were invaluable in planning my itinerary. Overall, Hostel Gypsy exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s super well located near central lake side, but yet hidden behind and quiet. The rooms are new and beautiful, there is a shared kitchen with refrigerator and water refill, the bed and linen were very comfy, modern, clean bathroom with hot water and Bikram, the owner, is a truly amazing host who will help you with any question you have. I extended my stay twice and Bikram helped me to book a really good night bus which even picked me up in front of the street outside and I didn’t have to go to the bus station. 😊

This is what I would call a trekkers hotel, there are no frills but it feels safe and it is clean. I say no frills but there was a TV if you wanted to watch it and Air conditioning too. Its a family run establishment, nothing was too much trouble, they made us feel very welcome. We were able to get laundry done which was a bonus. We had both breakfast and dinner, local dishes while we're there and it was delicious and freshly made. The beds were comfy. The hotel has a Victoriana feel about it, lots of plants! I will be coming back!

The view from the swimming pool and our balcony was amazing. I loved watching the sunrise over the lake. The pool was great too. The bed was huge and really comfy, we all slept really well. The room was clean when we arrived, although the bins were not emptied daily, nor the room made up. The location is very peaceful and the hotel is actually a yoga retreat, this wasn't clear in the advert so it was quite tricky keeping a 3 year old quiet at times. The breakfast was delicious and slightly varied every day. The staff were very helpful.
