The view from my room of the mountain range was breathtaking. The staff were very nice and the shower and bathroom facilities were super clean. The overall aesthetic of the room was traditional Japanese but with all the comfy elements.

Exceptional views from just outside the building of Gifu mountains, and the rooms themselves are very well-equiped and comfy, considering the price! Also, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I could check-in without a physical passport (as I didn't have it at the time), and helped me check-in just with a picture I had of it.

I liked the communal area, the comfy room, the bath house and the staff. Nakatsugawa is a lovely quiet town and very easy to get to Magome or Tsumago from the hotel.
