There were a lot of things I loved about staying at Savoy Hotel Manila. - It's near the airport so it was perfect for my next day flight to my hometown. - In the beginning, I was worried because I read reviews about how the check in process took too long and that no one was there to assist with luggage, but my experience was the complete opposite. The check in process went quite smoothly and fairly quickly and someone actually came to help me with my luggage the moment I stepped out of the taxi. - I was coming from a 17-hr flight from Paris and so I knew I had to get the in-room massage service and IT WAS PERFECT AND EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED. - Patrick, the front desk officer at that time, accommodated my request to be given a room with a view. The room I got was so nice, clean, and spacious and had a city view. Considering we were in the airport neighborhood, the view I got was quite nice. - They had satin robes and slippers which was quite convenient for me as I didn't have the energy to dig through my luggage for sleeping clothes anymore. Additionally, the bathroom toiletries were of good quality and they were organic. - The bed was extra comfy. My best friend slept over and the two of us were mooning about how soft and comfy the bed was. - Breakfast was nice, especially the Asian dishes. My favorites were probably the congee and taho station. I didn't care much for the brie cheese and the bread - but it's okay, this is not France so I was able to manage my expectations. All in all, I was super happy with my overnight stay that I was compelled to give tips to the staff. Hope to be back soon.
