The host and his wife were both great and made us feel like home from the first moment. Super polite and genuine hospitable! He communicated quickly, answered our questions, provided info and recommendations and forwarded our luggage for us upon our departure. It was great to have so much space after small hotel rooms in other locations. Lovely location - walking distance to Kinkaku-ji and just around the corner from Kazariya (which you simply must visit for grilled mochi with white miso sauce) and really good access to buses and metro. Full kitchen, comfy beds, lots of amenities, beautiful furnishings. Highly recommended.

A quiet part of Kyoto and right next door to an amazing temple. The home was very spacious and well maintained. All of the accessories were there and they even provided some tea and coffee and snacks. Very nice hosts and great communication. There are several restaurants and cafes as well as several temples all within walking distance. Highly recommend!
