The Fontenay Hamburg is a 5-star hotel situated on the shore of the Alster Lake in Hamburg, within walking distance of the famous shopping area at Jungfernstieg. Great location, beautiful rooms, we enjoyed the pool with the nice view. Breakfast was really superb as well, and all the staff were very professional, friendly and super helpful.

Room was very clean, hotel was very clean. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Great central location, close to trains and buses, said walk to the Alster - yet in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Instead of a mini-bar, there was a separate room offering cold drinks, snacks - at very reasonable prices, which was great. Continental breakfast; fresh cheeses, meats, smoked salmon, pastries, etc. Good value for money. Very comfortable stay, would definitely stay there again.

Just a 5-minute walk from Dammtor railway station and Hamburg's city centre, this privately run hotel in the historic Dammtorpalais is located near the congress centre and exhibition grounds. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The hotel is in a very beautiful building. Very pet friendly 😊
