An historic hotel in a good location.
We had booked a king room but were disappointed by the size of the room. It was a small corner room on a low floor with no view. The bathroom was one of the smallest we have stayed in.
It’s an easy walk to the attractions at The Forks and near by restaurants.
Boasting an on-site beer store and a restaurant, this hotel is located 18 km south of Winnipeg city centre. The Trapiste Museum and St. Norbert Arts Centre are 20 minutes’ walk away.

Nice location, very clean, staff absolutely perfect, very caring and polite and helpful. The view on the river was very nice, except that it would have been nicer if not for the architectural decoration of the outside getting in the way of the view.

The property owner was not communicating. He avoided my calls and failed to reply all texts and emails. He valued the money I paid than relating to me. He avoided me, refused to cancel my booking and follow the rules, I won't advice any future patronage

Was in middle of snow storm so unable to visit anything.
Went to Salisbury house for lunch but staff were very indifferent to customers and rude if distracted by requests.
Food was mediocre didn’t have the items on menu
Roads for a city with snow storm were clear and able to navigate from one end to the other easily.
I would return during summer to checkout more attractions

Ahhh the charms of Winnipeg.
Ahhh the charms of Winnipeg. From the frigid winters to the eccentric locals, Winnipeg is always an interesting adventure. Plenty of shopping, unique restaurants and things to do but public transit can be pretty sus at the best of times. Make sure your immunizations are up to date and enjoy your stay in Winnipeg
my card was charged twice for my stay even after calling them for refund they refused. Other than that its a good hotel nice rooms but I would say reception lack of experience costed me paying twice for my stay & the lack of manners & professionalism of the manager when I called to report double charge would make me never stay again at this hotel as I was planning to stay there at-least 8-10 times per year during my work trips to winnipeg.
Great location for staying in the downtown core. The front desk staff were friendly, and the room was clean...breakfast was fine (what was weird for us was it included 4 choices for dry cereals, which were the exact ones we have at our home). Hotel wasnt busy so the parking is plentiful....great price in comparison to the other downtown hotels
This is the first time we stayed at the Super 8 and it will not be the last. From the time we entered the hotel it felt just like a place to be. The front reception was excellent. The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfasts were fantastic. A lot of choices. Loved the fact that the eggs and bacon were actually hot was the best.
this property is very very very very bad not clean at all ive never seen that before in Canada room smelled no nice at all bed was not clean the bed sheets had stains in other room has insect oh my god I passed my night there I think this property should be closed in bathroom wasn’t clean it’s crazy experience I’ll never go there of sure
Location was excellent! With a car you were within 15 - 20 minutes to easily head downtown and Forks, to the airport, football stadium, parks, and connect with the highways outside the city to head to the provincial parks. It was a central location. Parking was free. Staff was friendly and very hard working.
Location good, need to be careful re safety in downtown Winnipeg. Very quiet, great heat/air conditioning, every convenience, towels etc excellent stay
Very nice condo seemed secure, easy entry with keyf8b & door code. I d8dnt need parking but it's a great feature in downtown where park/limited & expens8ce
The hotel was in a very unsafe area of Winnipeg. Additionally, I was harassed in the middle of the night by someone at the hotel via the hotel phone. It made me feel very unsafe as they had to dial my room number. This was a very disturbing experience for me and I had trouble sleeping as I felt unsafe.
Conveniently located in downtown Winnipeg just a few steps from Canada Life Centre and a bus that goes directly to the airport for 3.10$ (coins only). Lovely little apartment with a nice view. Always felt save there (guarded entry to the building). Host always answered quickly to questions.
We had a very pleasant stay at the Sandman Hotel. The location is very near to the airport which is convenient for a 1-night stay when arriving late to Winnipeg. The room was very clean and comfortable, the beds were very comfortable. Good wifi connection and very nice hotel personnel.
I am a regular guest at the Saskatoon Inn - have been for almost 20 years, about 2 times a year. Mainly because it is very conveniently located for my business. I will continue to stay here rather than the newer hotels that have come along closer to the airport.
Nice hotel! Very clean and for Winnipeg was a reasonable price. The restaurant is only open for breakfast which we didn't do, but did have two very nice dinners in the lounge! Across the street is a big Shopper's Drug Mart, Boston Pizza and The Keg.
It was the most horrible hotel in the universe, it full of junkies and prostituts and I firmly believe that who ever will stay there more than 5 minutes will get murdered ( and that was the filling in all of Winnipeg, NOT EVEN JOKING!!!!)
We like the location on the river and walking distance to downtown restaurants. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Visiting Winnipeg in September the weather was comfortable and less crowded.
Great downtown location close to the Canada life centre that was holding the concert we were going to. Staff was friendly and helpful , rooms were clean parking was easy and connected by skywalk
The breakfast (not includet in roomprice) is very good, great choice, but very expensive. The hotel is in a very beautifull building near the railway station of Winnipeg.
This was our favorite hotel in our travels across Canada. The room was clean & comfortable. The pool & hot tub area were well kept and we really enjoyed them.
It was one of the best hotels on our across Canada trip. Great value for money; rooms were clean and modern. The pool and breakfast facilities were excellent.
