Lovely building great mix of traditional and modern, very tastefully done. Facilities were great and staff very helpful. Would recommend as great value.

Located in a wine producing estate, on the right bank of Douro River, Quinta De La Rosa is a family owned property, 2 km from Pinhão. Rooms at this working vineyard are spread over several levels.

We had a wonderful experience at Casa do Santo for our 2 night stay. Maria was very hospitable, helpful, and knowledgable. The views of the Douro valley are beautiful. The small, quaint village is a quick drive to the Douro river with amazing views of the hillside vineyards. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay here again when we return to this area.

On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the farm stay's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Nuno is an outstanding host. He seems to have a special worldview. His place looks like a piece of heaven, he welcomed us with open arms, gave us recommendations around the village, allowed us to use all the facilities - unlimited pool, kitchen and public living room, check out until 2pm with an elaborate breakfast. He suggested us to stay even after checking out to use these facilities. The environment gives quality time with nature, we rested and enjoyed. Only one minor thing-the road to the place includes sharp descents with narrow road-alleys that only good drivers can manage. Thank you for the time in Paradise Nuno. We will definitely come back to stay.

The area is popular for hiking and walking tours, and bike hire is available at Quinta de Travassinhos- Douro Valley. The farm stay also features outdoor fireplace and a picnic area for a day out in the open. The property is amazing! Owners took care of every little detail and it was just an overall exceptional experience.

With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and a hair dryer, units at the country house also boast free WiFi, while certain rooms are fitted with a balcony. At the country house, every unit comes with bed linen and towels. We were on our way from Northern Portugal to Madrid Spain, and found this place on the way. So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.
