Location is great! Just a 5 minute walk away from the Zhangjiajie’s West Gate. The bedroom was clean and comfortable. I’d say the best thing about this place the manager (Lucas). He was extremely helpful during our two night stay in which we helped us by planning activities, arranging our transfers and buying the entrance tickets in advance. It made our lives much easier. Absolutely recommended!

Carol was so helpful. She arranged a taxi for myself and my friend when we arrived at the train station, and the driver took us to an ATM to get cash out. She was always on hand to help with any queries or concerns. The set up of the hostel breakfast/dinner allowed us to meet other people and have an enjoyable rural experience.

This is good for those who want to enter the park as early as possible to avoid the crowds. The area around the west gate is like the quiet countryside whereas the east gate is a bustling place with lots of shops and restaurants. But the property has a restaurant and provided well cooked Chinese dishes. Carol and the rest of the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, just a 10 minute walk to the park entrance and in a very cozy and lively neighborhood. Rebecca, the owner, is the loveliest person, always willing to help with a smile. She even offered to arrange our visit to the park (including the taxi) for multiple days, making our stay much easier. It's a cozy small guesthouse with friendly staff. It even has a lift. The rooms are spacious,the bed is comfortable with a large ensuite. No complains.
