We were unhappy with the rooms we booked. But they kindly moved us into a cottage with bunk beds. But we liked them as we wanted to stay together or stay near each other. They also refunded us as the cottage was cheaper than the rooms.

Our stay at Purple Haze was fanstastic! Louf and Thembi were warm and welcoming. Purple Haze is so peaceful and a perfect escape from our busy lives. The rooms are clean, comfortable and fully equiped. We were surrounded by breathtaking views of the beach and the Cintsa landscape. We would definitely visit again. A perfect mother and daughter vacation stay. Thank you Louf and Thembi ( MamZangwa).

We were well and very friendly received. We had a lovely spacious clean room with a bathroom on suite Coffee, tea a kettle and milk was provided, but they went the extra mile by also providing the most delicious rusks. Breakfast was optional. as we were still travelling quite a way we unfortunately had to decline. Would like to use the facilities again.

    Travelled with my teenage son.

Travelled with my teenage son. He got bored after a few days - not a lot of activities for teenagers. The activities and places to visit in the area a but expensive. The backpackers was very quiet for this time of the year - no group activities for school holidays. We played some golf at Olivewood - that was great!

The best place on our roadtrip down the coast so far. The hosts Margie and Chris made us feel so welcome. They are such a friendly and carrying couple. The spacious cottage is located right around the corner from the beach. We loved everything about it; the beautiful decoration, the tidiness, the comfortable beds, the well equipped kitchen aswell as the braai area surrounded by a beautiful beautiful garden with the most stunning flowers.

Gill's Beach House is an exceptional place. We much enjoyed our stay. The location is amazing, view breathtaking and the house has literally everything you need. A few nice restaurants in the area, there is a nice Spar about 15km away if the local shop doesn't have everything you need. Also a lot to do in and around Cintsa, including a spa in Cintsa! I can't stress it enough, the house is amazing!

Great location and Suki and Taki are delightful hosts! What more could you want? Our room was comfortable and spotless, with an ensuite shower and delicious rusks. Within walking distance to a small supermarket, deli and restaurants and a few hundred metres from the beach. From the fruit juice to the final coffee, the breakfast was an excellent start to the day.

An exceptional hotel. Only eight rooms, so it felt very special. The room was ultra luxurious with the most incredible view. The food was superb. The staff very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is next to a fabulous beach, unspoilt and quiet. The hotel grounds were beautiful. I would love to stay again soon.

The room had a great view of Chintsa Bay / the river. Sunrise and sunsets were beautiful. The staff were friendly and seemed to be doing their best amidst load shedding/power cuts and having recently hosted a high volume of guests.
