The location was ideal. Two gorgeous beaches were in walking distance. The property is spacious and well-maintained. We split our stay between the North Shore and Honolulu. We ultimately should have stayed there the entire time. Excellent.

This wasn't in Waialua, it's actually in Mokule-ia.

This wasn't in Waialua, it's actually in Mokule-ia. It's 5+ minutes to Waialua. Waialua has a small grocery store and that's about it. I went to a wedding at Dillingham Ranch, 5 minutes from Owen's Retreat

Snorkeling at Shark’s cove was great.

Snorkeling at Shark’s cove was great. North Shore Surf Shop also set us up with Mikey Redd for a 2-hour surfing lesson - he was wonderful! Giovanni’s shrimp truck, if you’re prepared to wait in line for one hour. Traffic through Waialua can be bad during peak holiday season. Ka‘ena Point hike and the pristine beach at Owen’s Retreat.
