The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The facilities, while obviously not 5 star were there to make us feel comfortable and welcome. We wanted for nothing during our stay. The location is also extremely handy to travel around and the rooms are very comfortable. WiFi is also better than most.

Sean who worked at the front desk in the evening was great. We wanted a room with the hot tub in it and Sean went and checked to make sure it was working before we came in. It was very nice!
Clean place, nice staff, breakfast was good.
Too bad the pool wasn’t working/open.

I had steak it was very low grade. My son's salmon was undercooked. They remade and compensated us for that. Breakfast eggs had been sitting out and were dry at 8 am. Not good. Bacon was undercooked and sausage was also.

Not very welcoming but she was standing her post and checked me in correctly and efficiently. The heater in the room was GREAT. Not noisy and cycled at a rate that was comfortable. The water for the shower was warm and comforting and the shower faucet did not drip it worked as designed. If you travel by yourself and want no convinces and only bare bones sleeping this hotel will work for you.

Also great for walking to Independence grove forest preserve. Room clean, pleased to have a fridge and a large comfy bed. Good shower . The breakfasts we're really good with lovely staff. Very popular with families celebrating navy graduations but usually only at weekends and even then it was quiet.
