Everything. From the rooms, location and especially the staff. Eren, Can and Ogi were all very attentive and made sure we had a comfortable stay at the property. The view was beautiful with a clear visibility of the valley and sunrise. We missed the hot air balloon due to weather conditions, but the rooms had a clear view of the valley where they are flown. Exceptional property especially due to the hospitality of all the people who manage it. Kudos.

Location was great, easy to walk to Uchisar town centre. Taxi was always available for longer distance. The view from patio was great. The room was very spacious and perfectly decorated to match the surroundings. Breakfast was exceptional, great variety, always fresh. Most of all, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Even at the time of booking replied to all queries immediately by email. It was our first time in Cappadocia so we were not sure how to best plan our days/trips. They all very patiently helped us everyday to book restaurants and taxis, suggested places to visit. They went over and beyond to make our short trip a magical stay. Have to mention Seda at reception, great host, always smiling, so helpful and friendly from the second we walked in. Great hotel to stay in Cappadocia.

It’s a very nice place to stay, quiet and yet in the centre of the town
Mehmet was so kind to us. We only stayed here for a night. Not only did Mehmet help us when we were here but even through the rest of our time in Cappadocia when we were staying elsewhere Mehmet was always just 5 second away on text. Recommendations, watch outs. We wish Mehmet the very best in everything that he does

The tallest hill in Cappadoccia is Uchisar and at the top is this beautiful hotel with amazing views and spectacular breakfast. This will make your visit to Cappadoccia so memorable. Like the grand canyon, you need to see this place that is much more spectacular than even the most impressive photographs. The cave rooms are completely unique and the best views are from the terraces and restaurant/bar so enjoy all of it. Don't miss ANATELEIN CAVE HOTEL! Thanks ANATELEIN for a wonderful stay.

We didn't spend much time here, but easy flight from Istanbul. Convenient for the balloon rides, but not directly in the town they fly from. A preferable location if you want a little more peace and quiet, and enough choices for dining. Lovely to walk around and spectacular views from many parts.

Uchisar provides great access to all the sights of Cappadocia. Our stay at La Casa offered the perfect mix of cave/building and was in a great location. The breakfast was excellent. The close by Janti Cafe is also excellent, highly recommend. One thing to note is that google gets a bit confused with the one way streets, but once you get the hang of navigating in Uchisar, it is very easy to get around and you can see the castle from many of the nearby hiking areas.

It worked great for us.
It worked great for us. We had a rental and wanted to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the busier Goreme. If you don't have a car and are staying in Cappadocia for the first time, perhaps Uchisar is not the best option since it will limit your walking distance options of restaurants, shops and tour agencies, we loved it though and found it to be the perfect homebase to explore the region. It seems like some of the more exclusive hotels and restaurants are also in Uchisar so it depends on what works best for you.

Small town area next to the rock castle.
Small town area next to the rock castle. Quiet, with lots of restaurants. The top of the mountain has more shops and art galleries to see along with cafes. Once you step out of the area it is mostly desolated and filled with caves. There is lots of new construction going on in the peripheral area. We ate at the statehouse around our hotel and it was great. A bit expensive but gourmet like treatment. The open air museum is only 10 min away and the castle is right in the center of Uchisar. Slightly away from the crowd of Goreme, Uchisar was just right. The property was close to the castle which made it convenient. The pigeon valley entrance is a km on foot so makes for a great walk. Personally between Goreme and Uchisar, I preferred Uchisar as it's quieter and had more luxe options. Also the views were amazing and we spent quite a bit of time sitting in the terrace taking in the country air.

Uchisar is an incredible small town with a beautiful medieval section that is wonderfully thriving. Clean, friendly, with laid back dogs roaming the streets, and the home of Uchisar castle. Pigeon Valley has its own mystique and overall the town touches something inside of you that makes you want to stay longer.
The hotel is right next to Uchisar castle so the view is amazing and the staff are so kind. Special shout out to Aslihan and Anna for your warm welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast spread is delicious and not to mention the kitchen staff kindly prepared breakfast packs for us as we were going to our balloon ride as well as for our early check out. Would definitely recommend staying here during a visit to Cappadocia as it is more relaxed with parking right in front of the hotel and less packed compared to central Goreme.
The property was stunning! It has great view, wonderful and helpful staffs (Dolunay was the best!), the rooms were spacious and clean, and the breakfast was the best! They even have a cave restaurant that is more than 800 years old if I’m not mistaken. And we had breakfast there once, it was memorable.
The location was in the center and not too far from restaurants, coffee shop and even a mini market. We really enjoyed our stay at Taskonaklar and would definitely recommend it to everyone who’s planning to go to Cappadocia!
The small details made the hotel look really good. It seemed like we are in a real cave. Overall the furniture was outstanding and clean. Excellent property and beautiful.
The best room was the blue room it was like a real cave with amazing lighting. The bed was really cool and we had free access to Netflix. At the walking distance there were attractions. The couple owning the hotel were really polite and helpful throughout our trip. I would recommend this amazing and outstanding place to everyone coming to Cappadocia.
Boutique style rooms clean and comfortable. Location just below Uchisar Castle. Stunning views at sunset and sunrise including balloons. The hotel has also couple of terraces on which can enjoy all the views while eating delicious breakfast or drinking Turkish coffee/ tea. The hotel manager Umit ( also our balloon pilot at Royal Balloon) was very helpful, professional and friendly.Berk, Sem and Ahmet are the friendliest and most helpful hotel crew we ever met. We can 100% recommend Dream of Cappadocia!
The hotel looks and feels fresh and new, the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The room is huge, so is the bathroom. I really appreciated that the AC is not located over the beds, like in 99% of hotels. I also liked that they provided shower gel, shampoo AND conditioner - again, something most hotels don’t do. One night the AC started glitching, and they fixed it in 5 minutes. It’s located in a quiet street about 5 minute walk to the Uchisar Castle. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
It was a cool experience staying in a cave hotel. Arguably the best way to experience Cappadocia. The rooms were spacious and clean and all the staff were very welcoming and attentive. It was our first time in Cappadocia and the location of the hotel turned out to be a great base to see all of Cappadocia. The breakfast in particular was lovely. The restaurant staff were excellent at fulfilling all our food requests, special thanks to Resul, Ibrahim and Muhammad.
Breakfast was delicious and made fresh for each guest. The room was luxurious and cozy with lots of space and a heater. Free coffee, tea and water was available at all times in the lobby. The hotel also has a terrace with terrific views of the town and Uchisar Castle - a beautiful place to watch the sunrise. Tural was very helpful with our tour bookings and the staff made us an early breakfast as we had a flight to catch in the morning.
Large room with seperate space for lounge, comfortable bed, relatively nice breakfast, more quiet location but also still walking distance to restaurants and the Uçhisar Castle. The outdoor area had great views of the Uçhisar valley. Great value for money.
The room was slightly dusty but this is given because it is a cave hotel, there is no way it's going to be as spot free as a modern hotel. Expect this when staying at any cave hotel.
The property has amazing views and the rooms are large and beautiful. Breakfast is yummy and served in the traditional Turkish style. The staff who worked at this hotel we incredible and extremely friendly. We felt very welcomed and comfortable at the hotel! Also, arranging a taxi to Goreme, activities during your stay, and airport transfer are very easy to do with the hotel reception. I would recommend this place to all!
I liked the location of the hotel (if you are the type that like calmness and hate busy areas)
The staff is exceptional.. very nice young girls and Mr. Mustafa and his son are amazing and really really helpful ...
The markets are cheaper in that area than Göreme...
View is amazing and its near Uçhisar castle...
People are cool as well..
Worth staying...
Special thanks for the amazing tea and Turkish coffee...
Everything is perfect !
I don’t think I can find other hotels like Ages On Cappadocia in Uchisar or even In Cappadocia
This hotel is beautiful ! Location ? ,10/10!
The owner of the hotel is a nice person!
Receptionists are nice and helpful!
Other staffers like the lady who prepared breakfast or the ladies cleaning the room. They are kind and nice.
Of course I will never forget the little baby doggie ❤️.
Honestly, everything! The hotel was charming, the rooms were modern and clean, the views were breathtaking, and the staff were extraordinary. Not to mention the incredible breakfast! The staff at this hotel were particularly helpful and made my time in Cappadocia extra memorable. If you're looking for a wonderful place to stay during your time I'm Cappadocia, look no further!
Amazingly picturesque and peaceful property. So unique staying in a cave home, and yet it was very comfortable for our family of six. Breakfast was delicious, soaps smelled great, hosts helped us arrange our airport transfer and recommended an outstanding restaurant. We did the hot air balloon ride but also loved simply hiking the valley from here to Goreme. Wonderful stay!
It is a nice, family hotel, owned and operated by a family. Very close to Uchisar Castle, which you can also see it from the hotel. The breakfast was all right, the staff was so friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. We had hot tube in the middle of our room, however we did not use it as it would cause a mess everywhere, if we did.
Yokhan, the owner of Caldera was personable, polite and very helpful. He helped us book our shuttle and day tour. The hotel is in a great location with views of the Uchisar Castle! the breakfast was delicious which included a great selection of local cheeses, fruits, olives, breads, and scrambled eggs.
we’re so glad we chose My Story Cave Hotel!
the staff were amazing, very kind and helpful they were always there when we needed help also we miss the breakfast there - the rooms were so cosy, clean and comfortable 😍
definitely coming back on our next visit to Cappadocia 🥰
A beautiful cave hotel in Uchisar with magnificent views of Pigeon Valley and the balloons in the morning. The staff were very attentive and ensured that our stay was memorable. The breakfasts were delicious and we would also highly recommend a meal at the Ardic restaurant
Beautiful hotel that was a very authentic cave hotel. One of the best breakfasts I have had. Wonderful locations. Very comfortable bed and pillow. Clean. Great wifi. Staff very friendly and helpful.
The host was very hospitable. Ziya, one of the staff was ever-ready to help and checking on our every need. The location of the hotel was also amazing, right below the Uchisar castle!
