We stayed here for four nights and explored the beautiful Eastern side of La Réunion - our preferred side. We liked the location: you can walk down to the shore or explore the beautiful surroundings. There are good restaurants in the next village and some nice hiking trails nearby (like the coastal trails from Anse de Cascades) The highlight is the pool with ocean views where you can relax and refresh yourself after a day of hiking (you cannot swim in the ocean). Another highlight is breakfast with your hosts and fellow travelers. Anis and Dani are very keen to make you feel at home, speak English, and provide valuable recommendations. The tour of the nearby lava caves was one of the most thrilling and memorable experiences from our trip.
