Excellent location, close to a beach, beach club, restaurants and hotel has a pool, balconies and on site buggy service. Spacious room and extremely friendly staff. Cannot fault the property.

What a fantastic week we had. The staff were friendly, attentive, and extremely helpful. We booked the inclusive breakfast and the choice was absolutely outstanding. They catered for all tastes and the options were very generous. We also booked a night in the hotel restaurant which was also great value and very high standard.
As for the hotel itself we couldn’t have asked for more. Beautiful setting, away from all the chaos and hustle but close enough to take a stroll to the beach within minutes. Great facilities and the spa and pools were great too. Would recommend to any couples wanting a relaxing and aggro-free holiday in the Algarve.
The local cave tour is also and absolute must, as is a visit to the beach at Praia da Marinha.
Albufeira is also a cheap enough Uber ride up the road if that’s your thing.
All in all a perfect location. Highly recommend.
Many Thanks!

Portimao was a pleasant town to stay in. It's biggest draw is the beach, shopping/restaurants and doing a trip to the Benagil Caves. There is a cute little "train" ride that you can take as well. I feel like there could be a lot more that could be done promotion wise. Maybe some sight seeing tour booths along the main avenue. We came into town by train and used Bolt to get around. Easy to use!

There is a lovely boardwalk with a fabulous beach . There are lots of places to eat along the way. Not suitable for someone with a disability as there are lots of steps to navigate to get down to the beach . I ate in a different restaurant every night. The food was good and not too dear. There are lots of little shops to peruse and people are very friendly. I would reiterate that the steps down to beach are not suitablle for someone with mobility issues

The location for the race circuit was perfect.
The location for the race circuit was perfect. Nice neighborhood and fairly quiet. Be careful of stray dogs or dogs in other properties if walking around. Security of the gates is good, however the windows (most) don't lock. The kitchen utensils are basic and the kitchen itself. The shower heads are loose and hard to control. Lighting outside wasn't working and bbq was basic. There is a bus stop at the end of the road about 200 mtrs.

The beach was great and there were plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. There is a bus from the beach area to the central square but then you have to walk a short way to the train station. Having a train from the beach to the train station would be excellent.

Beautiful place with beautiful people and wonderful nightlife and beaches all in all, just be weary of the local drug dealers on the main strip they are highly irritating and can be pushy if you don’t interact with them they leave you alone
Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. Ideal if you have a young family or an older couple. Beach was 100m away, bit of a hill down to the promenade, but nothing too strenuous. Rooms were spacious and well kitted out with a kitchenette that had a microwave and small living area, again, ideal for families. These rooms were cleaned daily by the lovely cleaning staff. The Wifi was very good, didn't drop once while we were there. Overall, we we were very impressed with the Hotel Da Rocha.
The staff will go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your stay and make sure they can accomodate your requests to the best of their abilities.
The pool side waiters will recommend the best the hotel has to offer while tou enjoy the sun.
The location is ideal if you want to be close to almost everything so you can enjoy the party vibe whether with family or just with the wife.
I recommend you take the time to go and enjoy the Spa.
Very well managed, the host made sure the check in was seemless. Very comfortable apartment with a nice view and all the amenities needed. Great location too a stone throw from the beach and high street. There was good secure underground parking too. Thank you for helping to make my stay in Portugal a memorable one. My expectations were exceeded and I will definitely recommend and aim to book again the next time I visit. Thanks
My stay in Villa Prana was perfect. It feels like home. The room is cozy and spacious, exactly how it shows in the pictures. David and Silvia are very supportive and they made our stay very special.
The rooms are above the studio and we also could enjoy some yoga class and Ayurveda massage (highly recommended!)
Portimão is a good location to stay and explore Algarve region. I wish one day I will be back there.
Great location and bedroom/ balcony size. The bathroom was pretty and tidy. Even though there's a disco right in front of the hotel, we didn't have any problems to sleep. Air conditioner worked. The location is prolly one of the best, in the heart of the touristic street with bars, restaurants, just few meters from the beach. The reception staff was very welcoming and overall, the experience was good.
Amazing apartment. It's in a great, safe and modern set of apartment buildings. The flat is really spacious and clean. Nice and quiet, all you'll hear at night is the sound of crickets. If you have a car they have a private carpark with your own garage. We were on the fence between this flat and one of the best beachfront hotels. Now that I've been here I would come back to this flat everytime !!
Location was great, barely a 5-minute walk down to Praia do Vau, from where you have the amazing beach walk which you can take all the way to Praia da Rocha. Friendly and helpful staff, breakfast is fantastic with a lot to choose from. Lots of restaurants within walking distance, and if you like seafood, the best one is located just next to the hotel! Would definitely come back.
This hotel offers great value for your money. You get a whole apartment for the price of one room in most other places. The apartments are clean, comfortable and equipped with AC in each room. They have a good amount of parking in front of the hotel free of charge.
The staff are friendly and professional. We stay in this hotel every time we are in Portimão.
Super nice and friendly host, very clean house and room all available facilties were in very good conditions. Close to many restaurants around the area 30mins walk to the beach which i did every day to enjoy the site and taxi is about €3 less than 10mins. The best guest house i have been so far in all holidays i have taken, I totally recommend. Top marks.
This was a lovely and new hotel with helpful and friendly staff. The outdoor rooftop pool and bar was lovely. The decor was simple and clean and gave a great luxe holiday vibe to the place. Good breakfast too! Upgraded our room on the last night with a beautiful view and big balcony. This was a great value for money and the other guests were pleasant too.
Good place to stay to see the south coast of Portugal. Comfy rooms, small parking by the building - available free, but only if there are free spots, so if you get to the hotel late it might be full, but there are lots of free parking spaces at the street behind the building. Close to the sea side. Lots of restaurants arround.
We had a fantastic trip with Ryanair, a great apartment, clean, cosy, practical, close to the main beaches and attractions like shops, supermarket. Also we found close a great meat "all you can eat" restaurant from Brazil, Fogo Do Chão which was incrediable delicious and cheap. Our best vacations so far.
Best Hotel on Praia Da Rocha ! was second time in this hotel. Absolutely quiet place, just you and ocean. Amazing view from terrace. Room with frontal view to the beach. If you need relax, don’t want hearing busy nightlife on Praia Da Rocha, AP Oriental Beach is for you.
The hotel is right in front of the Marina, the pools are easily accessible from the lower ground rooms and the deck where breakfast is served is very pleasant. The breakfast spread is quite nice, even for a 4 star hotel
Cosy, nicely decorated and spacious house! Fully equiped and sparkling clean, in an excellent location! Highly recommended for an enjoyable stay at Portimão! Hosts super attentive!
Very clean! Modern! Top service. Wine bottle on entrance. Best hospitality in portugal still and I’ve been there more than 10x .
Lovely place , lovely host 💯
Very friendly host and did his best to make the stay a good as possible. Nice view over Portimão and wonderful terras. Parking outside was good. Enough towels.
