What an amazing and unique facility. We would highly recommend. The area is very quiet which is great if you want to get away from it all. The Cherry units were amazing but the bathroom lacked a bit of privacy.

A good location for a stress-free holiday in Barroca, Casa do Silverio - Barroca is a farm stay surrounded by views of the mountain.

Lovely apartment. Clean and comfortable. Everything you need for a short stay. Nice quiet location with a good view across the valley. There is no wifi. The small town is a bit remote but there is a larger town about 15 mins drive where you can get supplies.

The breakfast was diverse. From local produce - bread, cherries, jams, eggs, cherry cake - to healthy options of fruit and yogurt with granola. A special note about the cherries which were in season and the eggs were from chicken raised in the Quinta. The hosts were catering for the breakfast, including coffee and juices. We didn't need to get up from the table. A bonus was the view from the dining hall. A clear view of the surrounding mountain chain. The host recommend a restaurant in a nearby town which was great. Housekeeping was nicely done and our toiletries pouches were stored inside the drawers in the bathroom. Wished I had more time because the pool is bathed by the sun throughout the day. When the weather is above 30 ºC, that's the place to be. Inside water, surrounded by mountains.
