There were various activities catered to the young and old. We attended the yoga class some mornings and attended the aerial classes (held by Lauren and BJJ for beginners (held by Miguel) some afternoons. Both instructors were really good and we, and all the other students, had fun trying the hoop and trapeze moves. I didn’t think I can do them, but I did. Just shows that they planned their lessons well for beginners like myself. All the people from the reception to the buggy drivers and all the restaurants were all smiles and welcoming.
The food was also good and the main and some side dishes at the buffet breakfast change daily. There were some days that are best suited to my palate and some that were not, but the egg station is always a back up in case I don’t like the main dishes so much.
For evening activities, we followed where Deviate and abracadabra performed on most nights and were quite entertained. If we stayed longer, I would have done another laxy stroll at the bridge goin to Crossroads to see fish, sting rays and a nurse shark (oh, and the heron by the pavilion).
Thank you for the great beach holiday, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives!

gorgeous, newly renovated resort with lots of daily events, various excursions and facilities.
Note that
1.its really close to the main airport so after long flight its great to be transferred fast&smooth
2.its connected with 2 other resorts with non stop available and free speedboats. Its important to have option for those who are after maldives can be boring.
We can not thank enough Joker, a man who personally made sure our vacation goes perfectly!

Both family and couple orientated the place is just fantastic, despite some hiccups the overall is very good . Is very peaceful and the island(s) quite big so not easy to get bored. Sea life is vibrating and staff excellent. Many activities to do . Try stay in bungalows with pool. This will raise the quality a noch, that will definitively make your stay more pleasant.

So, let me tell you about our recent getaway to South Male Atoll - it was like stepping into a postcard. From the second we landed, it was all about those island vibes and clear blue waters.
Our digs were top-notch, I'm talking overwater villas and cozy beachfront bungalows with views that made us never want to leave. And don't even get me started on the snorkeling and diving - we swam with manta rays and checked out some seriously cool coral reefs.
But it wasn't just about the underwater action. On land, we had spa days, tried all the water sports, and chowed some seriously fresh seafood. And let's not forget about the locals—they were so welcoming and friendly that it felt like we'd known them for years.
Long story short, South Male Atoll is the ultimate chill spot. Whether you're into relaxation or adventure, there's something here for everyone. We left feeling totally refreshed and already planning our next trip back.

Very well organised - you are taken care of as soon as you arrive until the security at the airport. You don’t lift a finger, luggage is collected/delivered. Transfer by boat was very efficient - excellent service

The place is amazing, the watter and everything you seen in the photos and videos is exactly the same or even more beautiful.
Thake care about the UV solar power, on our stay was maximum on the scale and a 50 spf is highly recommended as with 30 spf you will get burned and believe me is happening so fast 🤦🏻♂️
The temperature is quite constant and even during the night is very hot.
Seaplane transfer can be quite expensive.
Definitely worth visiting at least once in a lifetime!

The Vellasaru experience starts from the point you come out of the airport to the point you hand your bags at the airline counter. It was amazing throughout.
The staff at the resort were extremely friendly. Breakfast was great. Room was spacious and clean. The island was really well maintained. And honestly we could not ask for more. Views were amazing, marine life was decent and plenty of activities to keep you busy for 5 days. My little one did not want to leave the island and wanted to buy a house in the Maldives 😀
We loved the place!! I would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to the Maldives. We have been to a few other resorts in the Maldives but this one is really special from the moment you arrive at the airport and threw all our stay. People are just so nice and attentive and they know about your needs even before you. Don't let me start about their restaurants, apart from the main one, the M6M (underwater restaurant) and the Traditions Indoceylon really swept us off our feet.
Everything, this is my 2nd time stay at Velassaru Maldives and for sure it’s not the last. The staff are very friendly, the restaurant is very delicious, The room is very clean and the swimming pool is very nice. The spa is just perfect. I went with my little son ( 9 months) and they made it easy to me. They prepared a fresh food for him on every meal without paying any extra money. They made our stay as extraordinary.
We loved everything about this hotel. Paradise island with white sand and turquoise water. Excellent staff who were professional and dedicated to making our stay perfect. Excellent choice of restaurants. The room was a very good size and beautifully decorated. We loved there were many excursions and activities offered too at this resort. We dived and got involved in coral planting. The resort was perfect !!
well , everything was on point . staff are amazing ( Reda , Ajay and Agra ) they were so nice and helpful and very very professional. food was amazing in everything single detail . I have been around in many resorts . but honestly they are different. they are exactly the meaning of how to be professional and friendly in the same time . Thank you guys . you made our vacation

hotel staff went out of their way making a super fun new year’s eve party. everything very neat and clean.
The Island and Reef are just amazing to do snorkel. The ambiance is calm and slowlife. The hotel is not luxurious but everything you need, maintaining the essence of the island and nature, which is amazing. The food buffet has a lot of variety and every day the theme changes, amazing grill and pasta.

Amazing hotel with breathtaking views. The staff was attentive and anxious to help with whatever was needed, special thanks to Adam and Manuddin for everyday attentive care. The villa and food are excellent. Also, thank you to Billal for exceptional dinning experience in Deep End.
The Hotel exceeded our expectations. It is run very professionally and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The location is a dream come true! We had only booked for Breakfast included (which was superb!), but would recommend the "all inclusive" option.
It was the best hotel experience in my life.
The staff and the attention is a 10 ( a one dedicated person for you the 24 hours). You will be feel like a King.
