Very nice place for a large group of people. Everything was as described, sauna and swimming pool had nice adjustments to the place. Self-check-in and check-out make it very comfortable and easy.
The 3-star Hotel Pils is located in the centre of Sigulda, 800 metres from the Sigulda Bobsleigh Track.

I like self-check out properties, it is convinient, especially if it is working, as it did here. Parking right next to the building is also good. It is also centrally located in the small town. Nice touch of decor in the common areas.

In general, it's a nice place and I really wanted to give it a higher rate. But, well... Read on.
Good things:
- Location is nice, it's 2km from the railway station, not far from the national park, and there's a big shopping center nearby
- Personnel is very welcoming and friendly
- It's clean
- There's a bar and sauna onsite (though I haven't used these facilities)
- You can come with your pet
