The beach is amazing with very clean and smooth sand; the sea is not deep even hundred meters far; perfect for kids to play and swim and kayaking. The environment is really peaceful and you can really feel the sounds of nature there! The manager and his team is super nice; kind and very supportive; made us feel like staying home!

Beach House Cambodia, hotel in Koh Rong Sanloem

Located in Koh Rong Sanloem, just a few steps from M’Pai Bay Beach, Beach House Cambodia provides beachfront accommodation with a private beach area, water sports facilities, a garden and free WiFi.

Staff were very helpful and friendly and I liked the communal dinner except the first night included a can of beer each. The next night didnt so would be good if they had a blackboard of the menu and price for the meal up in advance. Loved being able to use the kayak and paddleboard. Thank you. This is more backpacker accommodation not hotel or resort style accommodation. We had a few issues with our room which they fixed quickly. Well done for providing free water bottle refills. Thank you. Lots of seating areas to chill. This is a nice rustic place to stay and chill at while being near the local community.

I had a lovely stay here- the location was perfect- close to lots of restaurants and bars yet quiet at night, right next to a great sunset view. I stayed in the single hut- the bed was comfortable and there was a fan that worked well.

Bamboo Jam, hotel in Koh Rong Sanloem

Bamboo Jam is offering accommodation in Koh Rong Sanloem. Among the various facilities of this property are a private beach area and a garden. The accommodation offers room service and free WiFi.

The bed is literally 20m away from the sea, it’s just perfect to wake up and go for a swim. The bungalows are very cute and pretty. The breakfast and food overall was delicious with lots of vegeterian (but yummy!) options. Prices also super reasonable with nice atmosphere at night with the torchs and chill music. We barely ate in other places and I can tell it’s really the best place to stay in Saracen bay if you want an authentic experience full of charm.

If you look for a nice place to enjoy the island, you are here right. The owner is one of the kindest person I met during my travel in South East Asia. The location is incredible for sunset, a few meters away from the center, very practical but quiet. I really loved my stay there and 100% recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a beautiful and genuine moment in Kong Rong Samloen. Thank you so much for everything!

Nice for walks. nice bays, beaches.

Nice for walks. nice bays, beaches. The nicest beach and resort i think is lazy beach I think. It is more remote very much built into the jungle and layed back , snorkling available - good corals if the water is clear apparently. You can walk from there accross to the main beach: Saracene bay, not far.

Prior to travelling to Sanloem I read online that there are no roads on the island and was therefore quite shocked to see the massive, wide, bulldozed dirt roads that had been carved into the island's untouched jungle. Upon investigating the matter, we found out that a Chinese owned company has rented half of the island from Cambodian government and is planning on building big hotels and casinos around the island. So, what you saw during your visit year ago is totally different from this year. I dread to think what the island will looklike in 5-10 years time.

Long Time Visitors to Koh Rong Sanloem.

Long Time Visitors to Koh Rong Sanloem. Stayed at Lazy Baech for many years when it was only accommodation on Island and Saracen Bay was development free and a 25min walk through Jungle. Now they have cleared a 4 lane road through the Jungle from Saracen Bay to Lazy Beach. Just stayed at M'pai bay for first time and it my new favorite location in Koh Rong Sanloem. Nice village feel in nice bay with a fantastic main beach around the headland that is not developed. Lots of great Food and Drink options and allround friendly owners.

Nice and quiet island, small enough to cover the main sights...

Nice and quiet island, small enough to cover the main sights on foot. We loved lazy beach but weren't so impressed by Saracen bay. This is mainly because of the amount of rubbish in the water/sand but I guess it depends on the currents/wind. The island itself has very basic facilities and reduce accessibility, I don't think it would be suitable to someone on a wheelchair or using crutches.

This is a great place to relax and sit around on the beach, plenty of activities if you want but we just relaxed. We ate at Saracen Bay Resort most of the time, great food and very reasonably priced, seemed to be cheaper than other places along the beach.

Excellent Accommodation Booked 1 room for 1-night stay. Quiet, extremely clean, fantastic breakfast, professional and very caring service. All amenities we're in perfect condition. Staff appearance and service level was very accommodative with friendly smiles with eye contact and very efficient. Monies worth and reasonable pricing. Wi-Fi speed is excellent. Transport by boat is easily accessible with great place to stay and would definitely come back to stay at Sara Resort again and would highly recommend this resort for anyone.

Excellent location right in the middle of the bay where there is a line of hotels with tables in the sand on the beach in the evening. The beach in this area is also kept nice and tidy, while elsewhere there are a lot of abandoned places after covid, and rubbish laying around. Very large and clean room and bathroom with a nice sitting area outside with a table and chairs. Tips: 1) If you intend to walk to or from the pier, try to arrive and leave during low tide! 2) do NOT miss out on seeing the stone carvings near Lazy beach.

This place is an absolute gem. I almost stayed elsewhere on Saracen bay and am SO GLAD that I changed to Lazy Beach. It's very private over on Lazy Beach and chill, much cleaner and doesn't smell like burning plastic and gas. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, the accomodations are very primitive but lovely. I stayed with three kids and after a month of traveling is SEA, this is our favourite spot. I cried when we left. Snorkeling right on either end of the beach, great food, everything here is amazing.

Our private room at Onederz Hostel was very clean, with a comfy bed. A/C and hot water 24hrs a day. The hostel had an amazing atmosphere with lots of entertainment such as a pool table, football table etc and even had a fire show with a live DJ one night. Food/drink was very reasonably priced, with a BBQ on every night till late. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend staying at this hostel, even if you want a more chilled out time on Koh Rong Sanloem.

The a frame huts provide the essential space for our stay, bed was comfortable the hotel was on the best location on the island, the water and beach was very clean with a jetty to the front, the swimming pool provided fantastic views, also did the restaurant and reception area for a smaller hotel it was well laid out for the best views of the bay. Lazy beach was beautiful, probably a better beach but a 40 minute walk via the road construction of the island

the property is centrally located in Saracen Bay and is in reality a tropical paradise. No cars on the island, easy walks to Lazy Beach. All the staff are excellent, the food is superb and the night barbecues on the beach highly recommended. Greta and her team cannot be more helpful and they are why Sara resort is so special - a testament to that is that guests at other resorts come to Sara resort in the day to use the facilities ( it doesn’t get busy)

firstly the location is an oasis....it doesn't get better than this, the perfect beach. beautiful ocean, white sandy beaches. And then you arrive at Kamaku bungalows and Julia and Oscar make you feel like one of the family. The evolving tapas menu and traditional Cambodian food is amazing. The accommodation for dormitories are basic and clean, there are great bungalows there, and of course hammocks to lay in alllllll day. I will be back

Really cool vibe. The food and atmosphere is a much needed alternative to the other establishments on the beach (classic resorts and hostels) with healthy options and a generally chill hippie mood. The beachfront area in front of the bungalows is just a wonderful place to spend time sitting, reading, drinking or whatever. Perfect place if you’re looking for a rustic, camping like feeling on a wonderful beach.

Beautiful relaxing stay at the quiet end of the bay. Comfortable room with nice, relaxing outside area. Plenty of space between rooms which isn't the case for many hotels there. Hard working attentive staff. Good restaurant. Couldn't ask for more. Only 2min walk from the wharf. Nice 10-15 min walk from 'the main hub', so by staying here you can really have the best of both worlds.

The houses are simple but contain everything necessary - and everything actually works as promised. The owners genuinely make an effort to help with any issues. The beach around the hotel is cleaned daily - which is important considering Cambodia’s general plastic garbage problem. The bay is incredibly beautiful, and a few other beaches are within walking distance.

Beautiful location at a beautiful beach. The bungalow was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a private beach a 25 min walk from Saracen Bay, but the it also offered a free ride with a tractor so that we didn't have to carry the luggage. We enjoyed our stay very much and definitely recommend it!

Beautiful beach! Incredibly nice and attentive hosts. We enjoyed free Yoga classes each morning from 7-8:30 with a view of the beach taught by one of the owners. Good food (esp recommend the clams and the passionfruit mojitos!). We also borrowed snorkeling gear for a trip to Lazy Beach. Very fun.
