Jennie was amazing and made us feel at home even given us a tour of her own cottage. The cottage and grounds are beautiful.
Jennie has thought of everything in the cottage from, books, dvd’s and even VHS.
There is a full kitchen, lovely bathroom and sitting area.
Couldn’t ask for more and will be back

The apartment was really spacious and had a feel of home from home. As it’s above a pub the floors weren’t straight but that added to the feel of the rooms.

Arriving in the village you are met by winding country roads, a bursting canopy of trees and the Inviting song of woodland birds.
At the address there is parking sufficient for any regular vehicle which is off the road and accessible.
Pear tree cottage is a lovely self contained room & bathroom annex to the main property where the owner lives.
It is accessed via a cobbled court yard to the rear of the main cottage where there are a table and chairs for you to sit and enjoy a glass of wine whilst enjoying the peace and quiet.
Inside the room there is a sofa, coffee table, small fridge, and the usual drink making facilities. There is a welcoming and comfortable double bed and ample sockets for charging your devices etc.
Inside the fridge was complimentary water, yoghurt and oats.
The bathroom was well equipped, clean and the shower a good temperature for both my wife and I.
Overall, everything was clean and tidy, homely and not at all like the conglomerate experience at large hotels, little touches from the host were also lovely.
Prior to arriving the host got in touch to offer useful information and offer themselves as a point of contact, they made us feel welcomed and at ease.
We would highly recommend staying at Pear Tree Cottage and if travelling in the area again we would look forward to staying again!

The setting and location was lovely.
The setting and location was lovely. However the accommodation wasn’t great for my mother who is 87. The cottage was advertised as having 2 bathrooms but it had only 1 and that was downstairs. Not great for an elderly person! Stairs also a bit tricky. Make sure you get directions from jennie as the cottage is hard to find. Don’t go to Wollaston! Would go back but not with elderly relatives.
