The staff were fantastic, we called ahead and asked for an early check in as we were getting ready for a wedding that day and they sorted it all out for us which was such a huge help! Rooms were lovely and parking was very easy.

The room was basic but clean and comfortable, good shower but bathroom very confined, no toiletries provided other than towels and toilet rolls, tea and coffee available, bottom line friendly staff, good value for money in that all I needed was accommodation for the night.

Welcome was first class and above and beyond in serving excellent cream tea in the garden on request on arrival. Room was very good, restaurant first class and all staff very welcoming and friendly. It all had an authentic charm. Excellent value for money and would be very hard to better! Quiet, easily accessible location and also ideal for visiting Hardy’s Cottage close by.
