Great location, staff young but very friendly. Maybe need a bit more training on how to serve a G&T - but once we'd showed them, it was fine.

Great Malvern Hotel, hotel in Welland

This family-run town centre hotel was originally built in 1842 and has many historical features. Rooms are all of a high quality with en suite bathrooms and flat-screen TVs.

Our room was lovely and comfy. Attention to detail with little touches such as bath salts, a small bowl of sweets, mints on the bed. The room felt really welcoming. The hotel has a lovely bar area and the hotel is bang in the middle of town. It has parking spaces too.

Good location for walking Malvern Hills but need a car to get to the carparks. Found it difficult to get a pub meal on Saturday afternoon - nowhere opened until 6pm. Nice walk by the river at Upton on Severn.
