We booked this location last minute and were very happy. The staff was so friendly and accomodating. The Pub serves delicious food, and it has a nice garden for those who want to sit outside.
The guest cabins are in a seperated area in the backyard. Very stylish, comfortable and quiet.
We enjoyed food and accomodation very much and would have loved to stay longer.

Friendly welcome, great location, clean and tidy room, very quiet for a good night's sleep.
Food in the pub was excellent.
I had to leave early, before breakfast started, so I was very kindly provided with a packed lunch instead.

Amazing first impression, We had a lovely lady welcome us who explained how everything works, she gave us the key to our hut and off we went. Opening the huts we were very happy with the accommodation as we hadn't done much research so it was a surprise to us. The hut had lots of little homely touches, candles, hand made curtains, fluffy blankets, clean towels and the comfiest bed ive ever been on,!! There was also a kettle, mugs, tea coffee etc, plug sockets. It was super clean. The surroundings are beautiful lots of forestry, a massive green with lots of tables and chairs for your use, it was very well kept and maintained. The hut was just a 10min drive to Petersfield in one direction and Winchester in the other direction, We went to visit a really lovely place 10mins away called caffeine and machine which did lovely food, drinks and music. We then visited Petersfield for dinner where there are a number of lovely restaurants. Whilst out the lovely staff had messaged to say they were locking up but would we like any food or drink left at the hut for us for when we got back, very thoughtful. The next day no one was booked in after us so we were allowed to stay as long as wanted instead of leaving at the check out time so we made the most of the pub garden which was lovely. If you are looking for a little getaway from a busy life then i highly recommend the Fox, we will definitely be back.
