It was central to the town, free onsite parking and a reasonable price.
The room we had was a twin. There was a decent amount of storage and a clean bathroom with bath and shower (over bath) It overlooked the town square. The temperature in the room was good and you could open the window for ventilation.
Breakfast was a good selection of cereal, yogurt and options for cooked food.
Offering comfortable rooms, all with private bathrooms, this 18th-century hotel is situated 25 minutes’ drive from Stonehenge.

Very friendly helpful staff and pleasant hotel in a very convenient location. Only quibble: the tiny piece of soap slithered through the wide apart bars of the holder in the shower so inevitably landed on the floor. But it was good to have proper soap rather than a pump! Excellent generous breakfast (included).

This cabin was excellent value for a short stay in the North Wessex Downs. We enjoyed the peaceful location and the beautiful countryside nearby. The host was very helpful and friendly.

Charlotte surprise you with a daily selection of unusual excellent breakfast ideas and incredibly delicious dinners😋🤪😋.
I felt super comfortable and enjoyed every moment with the whole family and the uniquely cute dogs, cats and rabbits.
