Concierge on arrival was nice to see , all the staff were profesional and friendly especially Rob in the restaurant .The whole weekend was real luxury , Spa included.

We were only in York for one night to spend 2 days sightseeing. This hotel location - right next to the train station —was perfect. We walked across the street from the station, checked in, dropped our luggage and headed to town on foot. Never needed a taxi. The room is small and plain but the public areas are generous and elegant. We had a lovely view of York Minster from our window.
Situated on the banks of the River Ouse, The Queens Hotel is ideally located for the many shops, restaurants and bars that the centre of York has to offer.
