The room was very comfortable and very clean. there was fresh milk in a fridge which was a nice touch. The bathroom was large and the shower powerful and hot. The bathroom door grated on the floor and the extractor fan was noisy

On arrival we were told no breakfast was available as the kitchen was 'broken'. I expected the bill to be reduced to reflect this, but was told they could not do this, could only offer us a £10 voucher each for drinks at the bar. No use, as we had already arranged to meet family for pre-wedding drinks on the Friday evening, and Saturday was the wedding day. We ended up spending an additional £34 on breakfast.
We visited Harrogate and Pateley Bridge. We visited Harrogate for a meal in the evening, the Smith's Arms. Timble is a very small hamlet consisting of the Timble Inn and few houses, the only things to do in the area are walks around the local reservoirs.
