The breakfast was excellent, busy at the weekend when things ran out, but the staff quickly supplied replacements. The room and view great , lively plantings and great dinner the first night.

Location within walking distance of most of the older tourist sights. Breakfast was delicious. Made to feel welcome. Able to leave the car at the hotel while we walked round town - although it is a bit of a squeeze.

The position of the hotel, its views and its ambience made this a very good stay. The food was creative and the night that we did not need a full meal we were brought an appetising starter. It is a golf hotel so some might find this intrusive but we enjoyed it although we are non participants. We enjoyed the pool as a cool off after the Malvern show.

A lovely medieval town on the river, with lots of history and things to do and see. Lots of interesting little independent shops and spoilt for choice of restaurants. They also have a number of special events going on throughout the year like the reenactment of one of the battles of the Roses that was fought there, and various other festivals.

Nice town but very little to do I visited on a Friday and at night the pubs and restaurants were all empty at 10pm. I would advise going to Gloucester if you are looking for somewhere to visit in this area

Tewkesbury is a beautiful area with some lovely old towns round about to visit. The Malvern hills are great for walking and the views from up on the top are absolutely stunning all around. Plenty of historic buildings and some lovely old pubs and good for shopping too.

The Tudor House provided a splendid stay, in a smart but relaxed environment - 100 Percent on every level although my review when published by Booking.com somehow looked like I had not scored 100 percent in the categories!
May I say that I am looking forward to having an opertunity to plan a stay there again. Without exception, the team members could have not be more welcoming or accommodating. I THANK YOU ALL on behalf of myself and Solomon :)

No review to write as they cancelled my booking saying that there was a problem with the room. A friend was also looking to book and noticed that they were advertising rooms available. This was during Cheltenham so I suspect that they cancelled as they thought they could get more money for the room!
There was no compassion from them, as it was last minute I could only find a Travel Lodge
The location is excellent being across the street from Tewksbury Abbey and on the main street with some delightful shops and restaurants. The decor is gorgeous: the hostess, Joan, has excellent design style. Room #3--executive suite--is incredibly spacious with comfortable furniture including a luxurious king bed and lounge area. The bathroom is updated with a roomy shower complete with excellent water pressure--a true luxury. The building itself is lovingly and sensitively restored to former glory while still maintaining its historical feel.
River Cottage was an absolute delight to stay in. It was only a few minutes walk into the town centre which had an excellent choice of pubs and restaurants on offer. Tewkesbury was a lovely place to visit and very dog friendly.
The Cottage was very comfortable and the hosts had left us milk, bread and a selection of local goodies.
It was very well equipped with all we needed to enjoy our stay.
Modern apartment in central location with parking for one car. Location, parking, heating, lighting, beds & bedding, towels, kitchen & dining facilities and TV were excellent. Seating area is a little small but was comfortable and OK for our family of two overnight and one daytime visitor. The outdoor area would have been an added bonus if the weather had been kinder.
This is our second visit to the Shepherds Rest, and the weekend was chosen round availability at this property, wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Tewkesbury. Location is fantastic, apartment is exceptionally clean, all the amenities are there.
Katrina is a wonderful host, checks you've arrived safely, got everything you need etc
We were attending the annual medieval festival in Tewkesbury. This little house was perfectly located, close to town centre bus stops and a comfortable walk from the festival site, as well as the Abbey. The house is well fitted out with much care, it's compact and comfortable. It helped make our stay very enjoyable.
Great location ,nice clean hotel friendly staff.Hotel rooms have character and have lovely views over the rooftops
The royal hop pole has a fantastic garden with access to the river walk through the free car park(book in ,first).
This is a great wetherspoons hotel to stay at to explore all Tewkesbury has to see.

Great Margaret Beaufort Room at rear of hotel, with views over the river towards the Malvern Hills, which was very peaceful considering the hotel's location on one of the town's main thoroughfares. Everything was just that bit better than your average B&B, and definitely exceeded my expectations.
Excellent place. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Shower is amazing. Its a very easy flat walk into town centre ( took us 11 minutes). There is a pub about 5 minutes walk if you want something closer. We even watched a film on Netflix before retiring for the evening. Highly recommended
Good for exploring Tewkesbury - within walking distance of the town centre. The house is clean and well organised, especially in the kitchen and laundry. It was great to have a private courtyard area in which to enjoy our morning coffee, and everything was clean, neat and tidy.
The main hotel was in a great historic building, which was centrally located in Tewkesbury, with the river behind and two pub gardens to sit out in. Both of my colleagues stayed in the main building and said that their rooms were comfortable and that they slept well.
Lorna was lovely and welcoming. The hotel is perfectly located for the centre of Tewkesbury, has it's own parking, has loads of character and is charmingly quirky. The bed was very comfortable and the room was extremely spacious. We'd definitely stay again.
location is ideal, step out of hotel and walk up high street or along the river. Cross the road and you have the Abbey. Good place for exploring the Cotswolds although time your journey as with every place sometimes there are long queues to get out of town.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Best hotel breakfast we have ever had.
Nice bar area with good food
A great swimming pool and jacuzzi, also has a steam room and sauna all included in the room price.
Good location 7 minutes to Tewkesbury
Everything. The hotel was well placed for the town centre. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was delicious and piping hot when it arrived.
The place was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. Nice breakfast and a large breakfast menu. The scrambled egg looked lovely but we opted for a full English. A great location for Tewkesbury town centre.
Helpful message explaining how best to get to the car park. Room was a decent size with air conditioning. Central location for walking around Tewkesbury. A good breakfast in a pleasant conservatory area.
The staff were lovely, the hotel was on beautiful grounds, comfortable beds, and the swimming pool was just lovely. The bar is also really nice, especially sitting outside on the courtyard with a drink.
The staff were really friendly and always had a smile for us, and the location could not be beaten. The food was well prepared and there was a nice seating area outside to enjoy the weather.
