We had a lovely stay at St Crispin Inn. We both enjoyed the typical English country pub atmosphere. I haven't seen hops in a bar since my youthful visits to pubs. Our room was spacious, clean, and a very comfortable bed. Staff helpful and friendly. Dinner was good with enough options for vegans and vegetarians. We enjoyed our breakfast the next day too. The clincher for us was the dog-friendliness. There is a pub garden which when not in use by customers our dog went off-lead to chase her ball. You can easily walk to the nature reserve (RSPB) which is stunning to visit after dinner or early in the morning.

Set in beautiful grounds, Blazing Donkey Hotel has countryside views and rooms with free Wi-Fi. The hotel has free secure parking and is a 20-minute drive from Dover.
