We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The reception staff member was extremely pleasant and helpful. The leisure facilities were very good and clean.

It was ok, basic, tired looking, but ok.

Exquisite historic building, unspoiled, needs some renovation. Staff kind and friendly. Beautiful old Derbyshire town with historic connections (The Sun was involved in the Pentrich Rising in 1817); D.H.Lawrence birthplace a short walk away. There is a lovely historic church tower. The town has great views over the Derbyshire countryside and easy access to the surrounding area. Other lovely buildings throughout the town. Brilliant frequent bus service into Nottingham, very speedy. I will return to explore further.

Friendly staff and really comfortable beds. Exceptionally good value for money. Good location central to shops and a short distance from Nottingham city centre. Our whole group really enjoyed our stay and would 100% stay again!
