I immediately arrived and was told that Booking.com had not passed my reservation in to the new owners (don't know if that's true and I probably won't get this posted now anyway). The owners couldn't be more accommodating and found me what I assume was probably the best room in the hotel. The evening meal was good and the breakfast very good. The facilities in my room were very good but I didn't know what a more standard room would be like? It is quite a lively place and it's where all the youngest hang out on a weekend. They regularly have live music too.

The breakfast was superb, quality and quantity, couldn't fault in any way. The staff were so friendly and helpful, giving us places to visit on our stay which we wouldn't have known about. The food in the restaurant was delicious, we ate there both nights of our stay, all in all a fantastic place to stay, a big thank you to Richard for our lovely stay.

The location is on a working farm - with restrictions placed on children and dogs, I dont have any dogs or children however I would have liked to have known that it was an annexe to the owners property before I booked and then I wouldnt have booked as I dont like my comings and goings to be seen by everyone!
The ceilings are low and so if you are more than 6ft tall avoid
Stairs to the bathroom not good for the less mobile
