The Quality and Service from staff members during our stay was absolutely outstanding. Kudos to them, I have stayed in hotels across the world and I have generally found that UK Hotels are distinctly below par in service, staff attitude and quality. Matfen Hall is most certainly not. We loved everything about this cabin. Couldn’t fault it in any way. Decor was beautiful. Fabulous shower. It was the little things like coffee/tea/hot chocolate/biscuits to the binoculars/umbrella etc that showed great attention to detail.
