No comments about Polegate because the Berwick Inn ISN'T THERE. It is at Berwick which is some miles The post code given was the correct one but landed us in the countryside so we had difficulties in getting to the Berwick Inn.

Polegate is great for access to the beaches at Eastbourne and Pevensey. Excellent retail parks and large supermarkets within easy reach - 10 minute drive away. Sovereign Harbour retail, restaurant and Marina nearby. So much to see and do in surrounding area, makes Polegate a great base. Peaceful, countryside location - with lots of walks and trails.

Nature park reservoir just up the road. You do hear trains but they didn't seem to run during the night so slept soundly. Room and shower were of a high standard.PaulUnited Kingdom
