Pleasant town with an interesting history. The local people were friendly and helpful. There was a good corner shop very close by with larger supermarkets a short drive away. Pembroke Dock is a commercial port and ferry terminal for Ireland. It is totally seperate from Pembroke town which was interesting particularly with the castle. The Beggars Reach hotel was across the river from Pembroke in the village of Burton. We ate in the hotel and the Jolly Sailor Pub by the old ferry landing stage. The food was good and the atmosphere convivial.

Additionally, on a personal note - I checked in on a day where the weather around Pembroke Dock was a bit dodgy (a storm was forecasted). The owners allowed us to stay an extra 3 hours at the property. 10/10 for hospitality, would recommend to anyone looking for a quaint place to stay around Pembroke Dock at a very attractive price.SanidhyaIndia

Great location, close to local shopping centre with supermarkets to choose from. Lots of good restaurants, takeaways, and fast food restaurants within walking distance. There are lots of great places to visit just a short drive away too. All in all, it is a brilliant cottage for a family holiday to West Wales. Thanks for the very kind welcome pack too, hopefully be back when in the area next time.

Fold out bed was comfy for a 7 year old. Simple breakfast included but was all we needed, and quickly served by chatty friendly staff. They do a range of cooked breakfasts for reasonable prices too. Well located for our visit, visited Pembroke Castle, Bosherston lily ponds, Dale and Tenby which are max about half hour drive away. Had no issues parking in the lane at the back of the hotel.
