Haven't recieved my refund yet. I understand they are going through a difficult time but I wasn't aware of this at the time and they shouldn't have accepted bookings if there facilties were closed (the reason why I booked in the first place) please can I received the refund they said they would give.

Excellent price, room was as described in size, but price reflected that.
Very clean, bathroom separate as described but a private, it was excellent just the next room along and was decorated to a very high standard which I would have been happy with in any hotel.
Unfortunately could not try Niks greek restaurant which was closed Monday and Tuesday but a takeaway opposite, and the room does have cutlery plates dishes and mugs so easy to eat inside.

Plenty of parking, payment was quick and easy, short walk to an amazing blue flag beach, sea is safe, tide goes out a long way as its very flat, sea was warm and hardly anyone else around - absolutely blissful. Highly recommend.

Its clear from other guests I encountered that Pembrey is used as a base for keen walkers. It was a suitable out of town location for my purpose of visiting Ffos Las racecourse about 20 minutes drive.
The people working at the hotel were brilliant. Had a lovely warm welcome from the lovely lady on reception when we checked in. All the other staff we met were also friendly and helpful. Room was really spotless and well stocked with tea/coffee and toiletries. Bed super comfy! Fantastic location and only 10 minutes from the beautiful Pembray country park.
The cottage is very well equipped, comfortable and clean and we much appreciated the welcome pack on arrival. Cosy home with a garden to enjoy and a very comfortable bed.
It is in a good location for visiting castles and beaches and finding interesting walks and the Pembrey pub a very short walk away offers a very good menu.
the ashburnham hotel was great. but we were warned that certain days could be disrupted because of weddings being held there but there was no mention that despite a restaurant being on site it closed at 5pm on Sunday as it did carvers Sunday lunch until then and then the kitchen closed. so be warned
Location was great for us as we had activities in Pembrey Country Park all week. Good that we could take our dogs and that the garden is secure so no chance of them escaping. Kitchen had everything we needed and more and decent utensils etc. Decent shower and bathroom was fine. Had a homely feel.
Wendy was a lovely host, present without being obtrusive. She was good enough to do us an early cooked breakfast on Saturday and Sunday so we could compete at Pembrey Race Circuit on time. Thoroughly recommend Cedar Grove for any fellow racers.
The staff are amazing, very friendly always smiling, the prices are ok for food and drinks, pint of larger £3.80, not bad for a hotel. Free parking was good, not far from harbour and beach plus plenty of takeaways chipshops ect.
We used the hotel as a stop-off on the way home from a holiday. We had a good evening meal and substantial breakfast the following morning. The hotel was very clean and well maintained.
stayed here when at the cycle racing at pembrey circuit. was 5mins up road. local pubs and restaurants are all good as well.
parking area at rear or on pavement at front.
Excellent location five minutes drive from beach pembrey Park and burry port the breakfast was lovely and nice pubs restaurants within walking distance
