The breakfast was an excellent start to the day, the fresh fruit and yoghut was delicious and the full English was beautifully cooked, not greasy and very generous. Our room was large and had everything you could possibly need - the bed was also very large and very comfortable.
Really, this is one of the best places we have stayed in - 5 star quality and friendliness.

Painswick is a very picturesque village with enough facilities for a short stay. There are limited places to eat but all were worth a visit. It is a good base for ramblers but not suitable for young children. There are camping sites nearby though which would be more child friendly.

A very peaceful Cotswolds village, Falcon Inn was a great place to eat, went there twice. A good place to start a Cotswolds Way walk. I only stayed for a hiking weekend with friends but could have definitely stayed longer - lots of things to see and do within an easy each (one does need a car though).Daria - 10Scored 10

Enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location.
Enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location. We ate in the only three pubs/restaurants - St Michaels Bistro, The Falcon and The Oak and enjoyed the drinks and meals in all - all quite different. Village itself can be walked round very quickly - don't expect any shops to visit but lots of nice walks on offer.

The rooms were quirky and clean! We loved having the radio and our view from our room was stunning (we stayed in Sladbrook). We had breakfast, an afternoon tea and dinner, all of which were absolutely delicious. We particularly enjoyed our afternoon the tea. Haven’t stopped thinking of the scotch egg!! The hut was very comfortable, the bed was comfy and the duvet was so warm, when we put the fire on it kept the hut warm for a long time. We ate at the Woolpack pub and did the circular walk through Painswick which was a great long walk to fill the day, very much enjoyed coming back to the cosy hut after and sitting outside with a cup of tea!KelseyUnited Kingdom

The owners/staff were very helpful in advance and let us have early check-in whilst cleaning continued due to us attending a wedding and also catered for my dairy intolerance by providing oat milk! They even offered rose petals on the bed, which was a perfect addition. The room was excellent, bed was very comfortable, and the staff were wonderful. Painswick was a lovely town, and we enjoyed walking through some of the "public foot paths" in the area during our stay. You can't go wrong here!
